To stay in work

Dh was feeling a bit under the weather this morning, but struggled into work.

He has just texted to say he came home early and asking what time I would be back from work. He is hardly ever ill, but when he is, it's a bad case of Manflu.

Wibu to stay here as long as possible?

Dc are grown up and not at home btw.

No Yanbu , I would avoid my dh line the plague when he has manflu

Eminado · 11/03/2015 17:25

Go out for dinner!! I cannot bear a whingey moany barely sick DP/DH!!

EatDessertFirst · 11/03/2015 17:43

Avoid him in any way possible. ManFlu gets no sympathy from me ever. Why does he even need you there?

happygirl87 · 11/03/2015 17:48

See Id go home with a posh ready meal or pick up a takeaway, and suggest a film you both like - then you are showing sympathy and willing but don't have to listen to the moaning!

Frostycam · 11/03/2015 18:00

He will still moan his way through a good film. I am still in work, his weak voice at the end of the phone is enough to keep me here.

Sleep at the office. I cannot stand it when ill people are incapable of going 5 minutes without moaning about being ill. You'd think they'd realise how annoying it is.

expatinscotland · 11/03/2015 18:11

I would go out. Cannot stand whinging about FA.

Frostycam · 11/03/2015 19:23

I may have been a bit harsh. Got home and he's been ok - had a good sleep and feels better. Whew!
