Lighter nights, birds tweeting, green trees.

I hate the dark winter days.

Aww.

You old cow softie...

ilovesooty · 06/03/2015 22:02

I agree. I hate winter.

Annunziata · 06/03/2015 22:03

I'm fed up of the cold. It is cold all the time, and damp.

Nothavingfunrightnow · 06/03/2015 22:03

I am NOT looking forward to hayfever (sneezing has already started!) and spiders and daddy-long-legs....

But lighter evenings and warmer days: yes!

engeika · 06/03/2015 22:04

Me too. Daffodils and Apple blossom.

usualsuspect333 · 06/03/2015 22:04

Do they have spring up your end, Salmo?

OP posts:
Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:07

No.

HTH.

MrsTawdry · 06/03/2015 22:08

Today in my tiny, dank little garden there were BUDS and also something green and shooty coming up. It's good. Smile The birds are hysterical every morning too...as they go about their nesty stuff. It's marvelous.

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:15

I saw a fox run across the road with a baby rabbit hanging out of its mouth yesterday.

Does that count?

usualsuspect333 · 06/03/2015 22:17

Green shoots are wonderful.

OP posts:
DramaAlpaca · 06/03/2015 22:19

There are already some daffodils out where I am.

I love spring.

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:19

I might have lied...

Nothavingfunrightnow · 06/03/2015 22:20

Ooooh! Pretty pink blossoms on trees!! Yes!

And tulips! and .... oh bollocks. I have no more excuses for not going for a "run". It is light enough now when I wake up and when I get home from work. Nowhere to hide in the light of spring. Best I get my trainers on (which is a good thing seeing I am a stone heavier than I was last time this year!)

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:22

Running?

Are you somewhat mad?

LaurieFairyCake · 06/03/2015 22:25

It's spring here already. I spent 5 hours outside gardening today without being cold.

Spring has sprung.

usualsuspect333 · 06/03/2015 22:27

I want to stop wearing my scarf.

OP posts:
MeganChips · 06/03/2015 22:29

Totally agree. I love spring. People seem generally happier and everything comes alive. Plus I get to so my annual Easter chick topiary!

Winter, no. It's dark, miserable and I whinge endlessly when it's cold. Even fires, Christmas and pumpkins can't save it.

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:30

Scarf?

You're a big Jessie if you wear a scarf up here...

usualsuspect333 · 06/03/2015 22:33

I feel you are not taking my lovely spring thread seriously , Salmo.

I want warm. and green, and light.

My old bones are not good at cold and dark.

OP posts:
EmptySoulKindHeart · 06/03/2015 22:34

spring is the best season for me love the daffodils everywhere

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 22:34

I'm sorry.

usualsuspect333 · 06/03/2015 22:37

Daffodil Daffodil Daffodil

OP posts:
Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 23:26

Daffodils don't do it for me...

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 23:52

Spring heralds all sorts of killingness.

My bastard cats are very prolific hunters at dawn. Which comes earlier in Spring.

Obvs.

Salmotrutta · 06/03/2015 23:58

Hey, usual - is this thread actually serious?
