Who is sitting squarely in a marked parking bay and you get out of your car and say 'sorry I couldn't control it' that perhaps you shouldn't be driving something you can't control!

Plus unless you are a car mechanic don't try and brush it off as just scratches (it probably is to be honest) as you don't have a clue as to how the shell of the car and underlying structure may be affected.

anyone can make a mistake.Foot can slip, sneeze etc and momentarily lose control.Difficult sometimes if you are driving an unfamiliar car, you have to get used to the biting point.
Unlikely to cause structural damage to car if only reversing into a parking space.
