Fuck me, that's rude.

Balaboosta · 05/03/2015 17:02

Ha! I'm not the author!
Let's go out on the pull together EllyKelly - we could cook up a storm.
Don't even know where to start on the idea that being other interested in sex rules out having other interests...

JohnFarleysRuskin · 05/03/2015 17:06

Does it mean married mums are crap in bed? Or are they ok as wet wipe carriers too?

Balaboosta · 05/03/2015 17:06

What's wrong with feeding the fantasy of a single mother that the bad times are behind her, she is sexually attractive and has ten years left in her to generally misbehave?
If it doesn't fit your life, then move on, nothing to see here.
And there's nothing in my book to prevent un-single mothers from having a bit of fun now and then either. But I guess that's another thread.

BitPutOfPractice sounds like you're striking a good balance in your life. Nice one!

"What's wrong with feeding the fantasy of a single mother that the bad times are behind her, she is sexually attractive and has ten years left in her to generally misbehave? "

Nothing. Maybe somebody could write an article about that. Though it's interesting that you couch your sexual freedom in terms such as 'slut' and 'misbehaviour'. And why only ten years? Why not as many years as she like.

John, married people aren't allowed wipes! Wink.

SnakesandKnives · 05/03/2015 17:44

im with the South Park creators when they say "nothing should be off limits to joke about......but it does have to actually be funny"

That joke article could have been amusing, but it isn't really. She just isn't very funny when she writes (IMO) so it just sounds a bit insulting and demeaning.... i reckon exactly the same stuff could have been said without managing to offend the majority of readers (going by the opinions in this thread anyway!)

Showy · 05/03/2015 17:54

Oh yes, you could absolutely make it funny. If you had writing style and comic timing. In fact, a strong, single mother could own the whole thing and make it bloody funny. Importantly, she'd refer to her own experiences I'd imagine, instead of insulting a group of people who don't need her "help".

I have to buy baby wipes on the black market. Aldi staff refuse to sell them to me. They offered me a beaker instead.

Take your ring off at the tills!

Showy · 05/03/2015 18:44

They knew I was married. The cobwebs around my crotch and lack of interest in adult interaction gave me away.
