To want to be able to buy a dolls pram that's not made for munchkins?

DD is about to turn 7 and all she wants is a dolls pram. Not a buggy but a pram with a shopping basket underneath.

I don't want to spend loads....they all seem to be about 50 pounds which is a lot to me. I've found one on Argos sale at 20 pounds but the height of the handle is 65 cm max.

She's on the tall side and that's not really high enough. I can't find anything! Nothing affordable anyway. AIBU to think they seem to make them all suited to 3 and 4 year olds when in fact 7 is still a good age for prams?

Where can I look? Any ideas?

My dd ended up finding a proper pram (ie not a toy one) used for less than buying a new doll one.

Gumtree. There are often almost-new ones on there, suitable for older children.

And I agree, OP - your dd is at a good age for imaginative play with a pram.

As an aside, my boys played with one around that age, until other children made rude comments - but that was in the 70s when some fathers still weren't pushing prams themselves. Eejits.

Silvercross makes a tall/big toy pram. Perhaps look for one on ebay?

YANBU, DD is just turned 6 and really likes hers. I'd be surprised if it is not played with for a long while still.

Were just getting rid of DDS silver cross ranger pram. She's the height of your average 10 yr old and can't reach the handle anymore. We shopped around and its the highest handle height we could find. Its a shame because she's just about to turn eight but looks like a pretty teen playing with kids toys.
Silver cross is your friend!

How about this one? www.amazon.co.uk/Molly-Dolly-Deluxe-Dolls-Pram/dp/B00DDT1L1W/ref=pd_cp_k_h_b_cs_3. Looks very similar to the silver cross ranger and has a decent handle height.

Thanks all....Fishes I saw that and liked it but there are varying opinions as to the height. Some say on the reviews that it's fine for a 7 year old and others say not...I looked at the measurements and tried to work out where DD would comfortably push it...and it seemed fine...but now doubting! I will remeasure tomorrow I think.
