Aibu to be fed up with the constant 'checking-in" of some FB users or is this what Fb is for? I find myself questioning whether i've been to enough places so i can tell everyone....but then no...it's not me and it makes me cringe! If i am out with people having a good time, why would my thought be to tell everyone on FB, i want to enjoy the moment and the people i'm with. AIBU?

You need more interesting friends.

The thing is, the people I really like can't stand FB and would never have it so I see them in real life, then i have family abroad and that's great to see what they're unto and vice versa but i always sucked in and accept friend requests from others thinking " oh it will be nice to keep in touch with them" but quickly realise why i am not really in touch with them in real life and so it goes on. Must be stronger!

I like to read people's FB status. What I really don't like are the friends (and they are real friends rather than just FB ones) who post nothing but "news stories". I end up with a feed of the same story over and over again, and most of the time it isn't of any interest to me. If it was, I'd have read it myself on the news channels.

I would far rather see what they are doing; much more interesting.
