...to ask you to hand me a grip, and tell me it's JUST A COLD

DS is seven months old, and has a cold. He is utterly fine in himself, apart from being a bit tired, but is heartbreakingly snuffly and not sleeping at all well. It's just he's never really had a bug before and I've swung into insane pfb mode and am driving myself mad. I don't think he has a temperature even, but I feel really cruel for leaving him alone. DP has rebelled at being asked to drag the cot in...

:o

Nothing wrong with a bit of PFB when they're poorly....

BUT it is a cold. The first of many. He will be absolutely fine in a couple of days and won't even remember it. In the meantime, use Calpol and sleep when you can.

Yep, he'll be fine.
