Sorry for the late update, I had a friend over that kept on chatting! I didn't see if ndn was spoken too or not buy she's been unblocked and is in her own space! Hooray!

Wish we had your NAR we've had parking issues in the past. Once we had a car parked across the drive, DH asked neighbour (who has own drive but about six cars) to move so we could get in. They did, waited for us to pull in and then parked across blocking us in with a cheery "knock if you need to go out".

I was spitting mad but DH said let's see if it becomes a problem rather than kick off the first time as it looked as if they had guests round. They haven't done it since but I'm still silently outraged at the cheek of it.

Well at least until NDN was a cunt again.

He actually took it down that very same day, with a very strict instruction that next time it would be breeze blocks and quick drying cement.

They never parked there again.

Happy I was wrong

Not parking related, but Stillyummy reminded me of a similar story.

I was on a bus that made a right turn (continent) to a two way fairly narrow but always busy street. Incoming traffic was almost at a stand still. As the bus turned in, an incoming taxi was on our lane, going the wrong way. Almost between the bus and the incoming taxi a space became available, but the bus driver pushed forward, and kept pushing, so that the taxi was forced to reverse all the way to the nearest street on our right (probably where it came from). I almost cheered the bus driver.

But, Stillyummy, you should have gone out of the car to rest your bladder.

Don't worry about it being an anti climax, I'm just pleased it didn't end up with someone dead under the patio!

My former neighbours instructed their removal lorry to park right across my drive, thus leaving theirs free.

After asking the guys to move it to let the car out - they promptly moved it back into place! asked again and they just stayed put. At this point, I admitted defeat, went inside and phoned the head office of the removal company and explained that while I was sure they always instructed their staff not to block neighbours, this crew was refusing to move the lorry.

Ten minutes late, the entire crew, and their still-empty van were recalled. It was over two hours before another van arrived.
