NAR appreciation and crazy parking lady thread 2

Just thought I'd start another thread as the other one looks like it will fill up soon! NDN has knocked again at NAR's house with no reply. I think she may be getting the message!

Can someone link the old thread as not sure how to do it.

Thanks

Hopefully she's learnt her lesson nanny

fuckyouchris that is genius! I want a NDN like that Grin

AlpacaPicnic · 20/02/2015 19:59

Chris, you have the bestest stories! How tall was the wall?

Nanny, let's wait and see if she's learnt her lesson. If not... Get building a nice wall on your land!

Mrsstarlord · 20/02/2015 20:04

I've looked through the thread loads of times but can't find a proper update. What's this about 5.30?

Nannyplum2015 · 20/02/2015 20:08

Ok so apparently NAR arrived home from work and resumed his position against ndn's passenger side. FONAR was invited for dinner and just as they were about to eat ndn knocked on the door. NAR answered the door and ndn asked can he move the cars as she can't opened her door. NAR said "that's the idea" and she was genuinely confused! She thought they were just trying to squeeze in rather than block her! She started saying how that wasn't very neighbourly and NAR obviously said about how she was rude. She said she'd not park there anymore if it would cause trouble. NAR said he then made it clear she wasn't to use anyone's spaces except her own. Apparently she huffed and puffed and moved her car round the back. I think she has learnt her lesson!

Aah, thank you!

abuhamzamouse · 20/02/2015 20:10

Woo hoo!

She sounds a bit dense to say the least. Thanks for the brilliant update OP. ;)

MadamG · 20/02/2015 20:10

Ah happy resolution

Lweji · 20/02/2015 20:12

Oh, she knew they were punishing her, she just didn't want to admit she was in the wrong.
But, lesson learnt, hopefully.
And peace restored.

no73 · 20/02/2015 20:14

Oh my god I love the wall thing, what a great afternoon that must have been.

Not long after I moved in to my house (My Nans old house) I had to ask the neighbour across the road to not park in my drive, it was all very civil and polite and they apologised and said my Nan used to let them but I explained that I had a car and would like to sue my own drive. Some time later my immediate neighbours parked across my drive and I just left a note saying please don't park across drive as I can't get my car in. They knocked on the door and were really apologetic and said they didn't realise I had a car etc.

Not one of them said 'do I look like a give a shit' this woman deserves everything she gets. Loved the fact she had to get a taxi and loved the fact other neighbours joined in and taught her a lesson.

notnaice · 20/02/2015 20:14

What are we going to do for excitement now?

Brilliant end but oh so sad...

RedSoloCup · 20/02/2015 20:14

Hope she sticks to it!! :-)

Chippednailvarnish · 20/02/2015 20:14

I'm disappointed that it didn't go all Jeremy Kyle!

Mind you she does sound as thick as pig shit...

thewomaninwhite · 20/02/2015 20:15

Amazing! This has kept so many of us entertained!

TallulahTwinkletoes · 20/02/2015 20:15

Stupid and rude as fuck. I'm sorry she's your neighbour but you have diamond in NAR to make up for it.

Fantastic news Grin

BossWitch · 20/02/2015 20:15

Wow - it scares me that people that thick are allowed a driving licence. But hooray for the positive resolution! Hooray for FONAR! HOORAY FOR NAR!!

Lweji · 20/02/2015 20:17

I will miss this thread, though. Sad
Do post if she misplaces her car again, will you?

MadamG · 20/02/2015 20:17

What thread are we all hanging out on next?

McKayz · 20/02/2015 20:18

I hope she sticks to not parking in other peoples spaces.

minibmw2010 · 20/02/2015 20:18

I can't see NDN giving in this easily ... Sorry I can't ...

Damnautocorrect · 20/02/2015 20:19

Amazing! Thank you!

mineofuselessinformation · 20/02/2015 20:19

Shamelessly de-lurking to see if anything else happens....

AcrossthePond55 · 20/02/2015 20:20

All's well that ends well then.

Until the next time, when she decides it's too inconvenient or she's too tired to park where she's supposed to. duh - duh - DUHN!

Momzilla82 · 20/02/2015 20:22

I'm so disappointed NAR didn't use the obvious retort "do I look like I give a shit?" when she complained about not being able to open her door. She sounds a few bob short tbh.

SwedishEdith · 20/02/2015 20:23

Hmm, not sure that's the end of it. She was trying to save face, I think - and totally failed. At least you've befriended a great neighbour.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 20/02/2015 20:29

Alpaca, it was the perfect sitting on height :o

I'd pretty much forgotten all about it until this thread.

Nanny, I'm glad she seems to have taken it in! I suspect further lessons may be needed when she "forgets".
