So basically if I can come up with a 'smelly feet' perfume I'll be quids in selling it to ebay shoe sellers...

elizabethdraper · 28/08/2016 22:03

I have a load of old nursing bras. Might stick them up and see what happens

MrsPMT · 30/08/2016 19:01

Grin Have just tried this, haven't got much response tbh, except from one bloke (I presume) asking for pics of old slippers, not offering to buy anything though Hmm, is he just wanting pics? LovelySpread, can you advise?

JenLindleyShitMom · 30/08/2016 20:25

Tell him pics are a tenner each.

This has reminded me.

A few years ago I was advertising my cleaning services on gumtree. Someone contacted me saying they had cleaning work in their shop, it was a shoe shop. Fine I said, I'll visit to see how big, assess cost etc. They asked had I ever worked in a shop before, yes I had. Had i ever worked In a shoe shop? No. Did I know much about shoes Confused no, other than I wear them. Next question.... What type of shoes do you wear???

End of conversation. And no, I didn't take the job Grin

I recently googled feet on Youtube. I was having issues with my bunion
Blow me if there wasn't literally thousands of foot fetish videos. Had no idea how popular it was.
I did have a friend ( I keep my distance now, for other reasons) She had little piggy feet and loved to post pics of them on facebook or whatsapp for some bizzare reason, often tagged onto an unrelated message ; like " can you feed the cat whilst I'm away?"

AnotherPrickInTheWall · 30/08/2016 21:04

Only last week I got chatting to a man outside his menswear shop. I was wearing some fancy wedges; Rockport. He said he liked my shoes and had an online shop. Could he take a photo of them? I took one off for him to do just that and his face just fell.

LovelySpread · 30/08/2016 21:19

MrsPMT tell them politely that you will answer questions if they bid and will give the winner more information. You will get dozens of messages from frothing foot wankers wanting more photos. The slipper pervs are very vocal. I just make it all up. Is it the one who just wants ones that you're going to put in the bin? 😂

MrsPMT · 30/08/2016 21:24

That's the one Lovely Grin, several messages back & fore, I got fed up! Asked if he was actually wanting to purchase anything.

SalemSaberhagen · 30/08/2016 21:32

I know the message was posted last year, but I am in tears at maggie's 'oldsmellie' bra buyer. I genuinely cannot stop laughing.

Ilovetea82 · 30/08/2016 21:43

Dammit I shouldn't have washed my smelly old Birkenstock!

Off to rummage through the old shoes now and persuade hubby to list them for me!

LovelySpread · 30/08/2016 22:43

Haha yes there are loads who just want to message you and never buy anything, be firm. Also a lot of buyers who don't pay, but do if you stand your ground. it tickles me that there's a market for shoes I wouldn't even send to the charity shop.

SusanneLinder · 30/08/2016 23:37

I have really smelly feet. I could make a fortune....Grin

TVHubbyClaire · 13/01/2017 15:33

I have posted on a similar thread in ebay section. I have bought a few pairs of old worn slippers and never send pervy or time wasting messages. The only time I send a message to a seller is to confirm that they won't be washed before sending. Hope you had some success....
