Netmums is a bit more twee I would say. Mumsnet is a bit more feisty :)

Fanjango · 18/02/2015 20:50

Net mums has ticker, mumsnet has swearing. Other than that, not much Grin

TheFirstOfHerName · 18/02/2015 21:01

Netmums: supportive in a telling-you-what-you-want-to-hear sort of way. Colourful. No swearing allowed.

Mumsnet: supportive in a telling-you-what-you-need-to-hear sort of way. Swearing allowed. Wit, sarcasm and irony welcome.

People's Front of Judea vs Judean People's Front?

CaptainAnkles · 18/02/2015 21:20

You get banned from the other one if the mods disagree with what you've said.

Quitelikely · 18/02/2015 21:25

Netmums is like Aldi and Mumsnet is like Waitrose.

bigbluestars · 18/02/2015 21:28

Mumsnet is far more middle class, more Boden and more private schools.

Sparklingbrook · 18/02/2015 21:48

What's the AIBU?

CuddlesfromChickens · 18/02/2015 21:50

Why not join both OP and see which you like best?

Most people seem to find a natural home quite quickly.

I learned how to do this [.][.] on mumsnet
I Haven't really been to netmums. But you could try both and see what you think.

bigbluestars · 18/02/2015 23:04

Mumsnet doesn't have a "like" which I find useful on Netmums.

maras2 · 18/02/2015 23:13

I like Netmums but the posters who seem to be in real trouble have very few responses;whereas on Mumsnet, people are falling all over themselves to be helpful.< mostly> Also respondents to either social workers or social services questions seem to really dislike them.

countessmarkyabitch · 18/02/2015 23:16

netmums won't tell you off for posting in the wrong topic like mumsnet will this should be in chat Wink

You won't get called hun here.

Honeydragon · 18/02/2015 23:41

First rule of Mumsnet
Don't talk about Mumsnet
