somekindofdeliciousbiscuit HAS to be from Black Books!

ImADonkeyOnTheEdge · 18/02/2015 15:14

Mine is a line from the film Shrek.

I also like the line 'I've got a dragon and I'm not afraid to use it'

But it was a bit long.

I just name changed today because I was sick of my boring old one.

Toofat2BtheFly · 18/02/2015 15:18

A classic quote from Denise Royle.

Beverly Macca has been flirting with Dave

"And he's the shit and she's a shit , she's not even the fly , cause she is too fat to be fly and that's what they are,the 2 shovels of shit "

No ? Just me then Grin

FastWindow · 18/02/2015 15:19

Mine is from a literal translation of the Norwegian for a ferry/cruise service that goes up and down the Norwegian coast. An injoke in Norway.

Allegrogirl · 18/02/2015 15:19

I copied DH's car forums nickname, he's a man not a girl though (we have had some fun adventures in unloved British Leyland cars).

I keep thinking of better names and I'm sure I could find a Discworld name that isn't taken yet but I can't be bothered.

Number3cometome · 18/02/2015 15:22

When I joined I was desperate to conceive DC3

Currently 18+3

Fiderer · 18/02/2015 15:25

I worked in the West Wing in the Bartlet era.

AnyFucker, iirc, came about when a poster who hadn't been around for a while returned to find lots of name-changers/new posters and made a comment about not knowing any fucker on MN any more. So AF name-changed, out of kindness and politeness Grin so the poster had someone she did know.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/02/2015 15:28

For the drivers who join the motorway, from a slip road, cut across 3 lanes and whooosh they're away.

Though IRL, I think the 70mph should be scrapped, it's ludicrous now.

Bettercallsaul1 · 18/02/2015 15:31

I'm from Breaking Bad - my favourite TV drama - in good company with Fatstacks and IAmTheOneWhoKnocks!

mrssnodge · 18/02/2015 15:35

BestIsWest · 18/02/2015 15:37

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 18/02/2015 15:40

Lois Wilkerson is the mum from Malcolm in the Middle. Brilliant tv show.

ShumbTucker · 18/02/2015 15:40

ColdJerseySpud · 18/02/2015 15:40

LastOneDancing · 18/02/2015 15:42

I'm the nobhead who doesn't know when it's time to go home.

SteveBrucesNose · 18/02/2015 15:43

Steve Bruce, hull city manager. Search him on Google images and you'll see why his nose needs recognition - it's immense

RuggerHug · 18/02/2015 15:49

Rugger-Hugger is a phrase used to describe (generally only) females around here who go to matchs just to perve on players/no interest in the sport. Day I finally joined after lurking for donkeys awhile new-ish bloke in work called me it and before I had a chance to respond one of the other lads explained to him that I knew more than he ever could and even though I was out of training I could crush him with one tackle when he least expected it waiting by the printer. Grin
Wouldn't let me use it so went for the cuddley option!

Toofat2BtheFly I got the reference!

HoraceCope · 18/02/2015 15:50

there was an episode of two ronnies recently, they mentioned loads of names, including this one, which I liked,

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 18/02/2015 15:52

Favourite book. Rather dull, really...

steppeinginto2015 · 18/02/2015 15:54

well I was steppemum when i joined because I lived on the Kazakh steppe (12 years ago Shock

I have only recently tiptoed into name changing, but I like to still be me, so it always has steppe in it.

flipchart · 18/02/2015 15:54

Mine means nothing in particular. I was name changing and it was what I was staring at the time.
