SlightlyJadedJack · 18/02/2015 22:01

Mine is from 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy'. I'm heading that way but just slightly jaded level at the moment. I'm not a boy though.

Floopledoop · 18/02/2015 22:04

Mine is one of the dog's many nicknames but is my current favourite

RVPisnomore · 18/02/2015 22:06

Robin Van Persie left Arsenal!

RecklessSerenade · 18/02/2015 22:10

Arctic Monkeys song

DustBunnyFarmer · 18/02/2015 22:11

As my name implies, I excel in breeding dust bunnies. You can infer what you like about the state of my house from that. I'm not commenting directly.

foreverton · 18/02/2015 22:13

My football team:) no guesses where I'm from....

jeanmiguelfangio · 18/02/2015 22:13

There is a famous argentine f1 racing driver called juan miguel fangio, i loved it, and became Jean, to girl it up a bit
i am not known as this anywhere else, but i love my mn moniker now, thought about changing it, but im rather attached

ProfessorPickles · 18/02/2015 22:15

The name of a song by Reverend and the Makers!

StrangeCharm · 18/02/2015 22:16

Two of the six flavours of quarks the elementary particle variety not the cheese stuff Grin

Misfitless · 18/02/2015 22:19

Mine is a play on words.

I joined when I was still a Miss.

"Misfit" as in I don't always feel like I completely fit in in certain situations.

Added "less" because without it it sounds like I think I'm really fit in both senses of the word ie. I love myself, and I think I'm very physically fit.

Put it all together and ta-dah!

mum2bubble · 18/02/2015 22:19

at times I think my dd is channeling Bubble from Ab Fab

ReallyBadParty · 18/02/2015 22:20

“I want to give a really BAD party. I mean it. I want to give a party where there’s a brawl and seductions and people going home with their feelings hurt and women passed out in the cabinet de toilette. You wait and see.”

Momagain1 · 18/02/2015 22:22

Because, after raising 2 children all the way to adulthood, I became a Mom Again. Plus a 1 cause the name was taken already.

It has just occurred to me that MomAgain might be me, did I join Mumsnet when I lived in the UK before? No, it can't be me, because it would have told me if that email address already had an account, right?

GiddyOnZackHunt · 18/02/2015 22:22

I'm not a fan of George Osbourne

ReallyBadParty · 18/02/2015 22:22

Oops, because I love F Scott Fitzgerald's writing and this quotation always makes me feel nostalgic for the days when this might have been a possibility....

QueenInTheNorth · 18/02/2015 22:24

I love Game of Thrones, the Starks are my favourite (Robb Stark in particular Grin) and I live in the North, hence Queen in The North. I think it makes some sense given that last fact to most people, but GoT fans should get it.

FitzChivarly · 18/02/2015 22:25

Mine is a character from my favourite series of books by Robin Hobb the first book is called The Assassins Apprentice

flowerpowerspiceknicks · 18/02/2015 22:26

I haven't a clue as I,d been on a Christmas night out and had consumed far too much Wine when I signed up... But I'm guessing I was wearing flowery Knicks at the time Blush

backtowork2015 · 18/02/2015 22:26

7 glorious days of mat leave remaining. .....then I get to work till I retire and will always look back on the heady year of 2014 when I didn't lift a finger.....just looked after dd and baby ds from my chaise longue!

AuditAngel · 18/02/2015 22:29

Whenever I used to fix stuff at work that had gone wrong/not been done, I used to joke that it had been fixed by the "audit fairy", but this seemed a bit derogatory. I did a Christmas name change, used Angel instead of fairy and never changed back

APlaceInTheWinter · 18/02/2015 22:30

I name-changed around the time of the Commonwealth Games. It's a quote from 'Dignity' by Deacon Blue.

Yay4may · 18/02/2015 22:32

My dd2 was due/born in May

themadcaplass · 18/02/2015 22:33

Mine is a tribute to Syd Barrett, his first solo album is called The Madcap Laughs Smile

Misfitless · 18/02/2015 22:34

Oh Momagain1 Grin.

That's exactly the kind of thing I could see myself doing, thinking and then posting!

That made me laugh Smile!

SpecificOcean · 18/02/2015 22:34

My dd always pronounced Pacific Ocean this way
