To miss my bed?

I've been away for a few days, to somewhere familiar and perfectly comfortable, and came home this evening.

As I climbed into bed and slid down under the freshly laundered covers, I thought to myself, "Ahhh my bed, my lovely bed."

Am I weird, or do others feel this way, too?

I need a new bed. I'm tempted to ask you bed lovers to recommend yours!

I'm about to move into temporary accommodation for a couple of months before we properly move house. I will really really really miss my bed, it is sooooooooo comfy

Best thing about coming home from holiday.

My new bed was the first thing that I bought myself when DH left - it's a lovely, double Silentnight, and the most comfortable one I've ever slept in... And, like vicar, it's mine, all mine - I looooooves it...!!!

YANBU. I adore my superking size memory foam snugglefest of a bed! Makes hotel beds kinda disappointing, though.

I also love my bed.
I used to make up stories for my children and a surprising number of the revolved around beds - probably because I was longing for mine.
I have flannelette sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover. Sooooo happy.

I love my bed. For years I coveted feather pillows and a duvet. For years I was married to an asthmatic and couldn't. Now I am separated, I have my feathery lushness and a reading lamp and I just bought the sexiest black and red bedding. I cannot wait to sink into them tonight. (And even more, luxuriate in my lie-in tomorrow)

I love our bed. We upgraded when we did our renovations a few years ago and it was some of the best money we spent. As soon as we have some more money I am investing in some proper posh expensive sheets. I get that Aaaaaaaaah feeling every night.

I miss my bed. I've been in hospital for a few weeks and my bed is like concrete. I can't wait for my own bed.
