I realise this should be in relationships, but I just took off my engagement ring feeling so shit now.

Sleep on it, you may feel different about it in the morning. Have you spoken to your oh? your friend may mean well but you should have a conversation with your oh before making your final decision. Hope it works out for you whatever the outcome

The ring will turn up. Then hang on to it until you've had some time to work through stuff. And when you're calm, you can sell it and take yourself away for a nice weekend...

Were you in a room when the ring fell out of your hand? It'll still be there in the morning, after a cup of tea and a comforting chat with a friend. Look for it tomorrow with a calm head.
