Am I being old fashioned in wishing that photos and videos of a new baby weren't posted on Instagram before said baby had even been introduced to its siblings and close family members?

Yes.

chocoluvva · 16/02/2015 16:13

No.

ghostyslovesheep · 16/02/2015 16:27

depends who's posted them and what relation they are to the baby I guess

if it's your baby and some one has done this without you asking yanbu to be a bit cross

if it's not your baby and you are getting shirty because you think the parents will be bothered yabu

Guess its just me being shirty then as its baby's dad who has posted them. Put it down to a sleepless night on my part due to worrying about DD, past delivery problems, and looking after the rest of their (large) family while baby being born.

Provided that both parents were happy to share this picture on Instagram then yes, I think YABU.

wigglesrock · 16/02/2015 17:14

Yes, it's their baby

SallySolomon · 16/02/2015 17:43

If it's their baby, it's entirely up to them and not your decision, sorry.
YABU.
