Watching 'the secret life of 4 year olds' I noticed that Cuba was never told off for hitting Skyla and it was even seen as a positive trait by the experimenting scientists. How is that alright?

Sorry, was in response to the 'chav' assumption. Clearly I have said that I think many such names are crap, but it's more complicated than simply saying traditional or non, or assuming that it's about one particular stereotype.

You didn't say you thought their name choice's were crap.

You said their name choice's were crap.

Thinking something is fair enough, that's just an opinion, stating something is clearly different and in this instance suggest you believe your views are more important than another.

But I'm sure you will again tell me it's more complex than that! Confused

Yes, not everyone names their children non traditional names and therefore there are not a proliferation of Braydens, Jaydens, Caydens, etc.

But thank goodness that not everyone names their child a traditional British name or we really would be overrun with Evies, Henrys, Sophias and Oscars more so than we already are

I speak as someone with two boys with very stereotypical 'middle class' traditional British names by the way, think along the lines of 'James' or 'William'...
