He's a bit too clean cut while also being slightly seedy? Haven't read 50 Shades and don't intend to see the film. Maybe it's just a hangover from watching him in The Fall and hating the character (obviously) and also the whole show really - couldn't understand Gillian Anderson's character's obsession with him. Do people really fancy him?

YANBU. He has a lovely face but no sex appeal whatsoever. Charlie Hunnam was originally supposed to play Christian Grey. Now that might have been a film worth seeing...

He seems like a nice enough chap and objectively I can see he's good looking but he doesn't really do it for me.

A bit like that Superman actor (Henry Cavill?) Classicly handsome, chiselled model looks but leaves me a bit cold.

Does absolutely nothing for me,very average. I was gutted that Charlie hunnam pulled out (excuse the pun). He would have been amazing.

Didn't like the beard in The Fall though

Nope - pointy nose (not that he can help that) - mind you I'm old enough to be his nan mum. I though he was outstanding in 'The Fall'; an unforgetable performance. I'm not interested in '50 Shades'.

He's not really my type physically, although I can see that he's attractive, but I think he's rather likeable after watching him on Graham Norton. of the problems he's had with his walking style

I love him. He is more attractive to me than he would be if he was from say England. The hottness increases due to him being from Belfast, so the higher possibility of bumping into him

Now Ian Somerholder is my dream guy.

Had no idea who this guy was until I watched Graham Norton - no my idea of sexy at all.
DS is always being told he looks like Ian Somerhalder TOAD- I think he;s more like Colin O'Donoghue.

No not for me either. Yes good looking, great in the Fall, good actor etc. but no.

However .... If you do want a sexy guy with an northern Irish accent.... I give you Ben Peel. Stella's love interest in the first series of The Fall, who was so cruelly ripped from me her after a few episodes. Now he WAS hot - definitely had the twinkly eyes!
