Does no one else have problems with mn on iPad

its so unresponsive
Letters I type appear ten or twenty seconds later and that's assuming the keyboard hasn't popped up and vanished. Repeatedly. In the meantime while trying to click on the a, I've clicked on the emoticons lin and lost anything I typed
I can type in emails. My phone seems ok with mn. So what is going on.

I'm on iPad air on safari. Don't use the app.
No problems apart from I can't copy and paste, but that's apples fault with ios8 not MN.

I also had this problem after I updated to iOS 8. I gave up on my iPad after a few months.
