You know when you stub one of your toes?

....and try to be really brave yet the pain is bone jaringly awful.

I did this at work today between swapping footwear, how I kept out the 'Jesus fucking Christ' shout out of agony is beyond me.

It's a pain worse than any other.

PS , my second toe is red/black and I'm hobbling.

ouch. poor you. It hurts like hell.

I've smashed my little toes so often that I bet if they were ever xrayed it's just bone dust in there Grin

It makes you feel sick and go hot and cold and prickly all over, doesn't it?

JuniperTisane · 12/02/2015 20:07

The very worst is when you suffer all that pain and swear-witholding and there isn't the tiniest bruise or mark to show for it. At least you have a war wound.

HowCan yes it did make me slightly keel over in pain, having a reception class in attendance reined me in from swearing out loud.

I'm a tough old girl but stubbed toes are my weak spot.

ARgh! Nothing worse. Have some Flowers and Cake.

How's your toe nail? Don't have a bath tonight in case it softens up and comes away.

cleanmyhouse · 12/02/2015 20:11

I have broken 2 toes this way. Sympathy coming your way, it hurts like fuck and theres nothing you can do about it.

EveBoswell · 12/02/2015 20:15

I sometimes stub my little toe but it's not really the little toe. It's the toenail on it and the stub sharply pushes the nail back into the toe.

Another one was in the garden when I stubbed two toes on an uneven paving stone. They both went black and I could hardly put the foot to the ground. My DH took me to A&E and it was X-rayed. They said that there was nothing wrong with them but I knew that things weren't right. Now, I have one toe trying to climb over the other and the GP won't do anything because the X-ray said "there's nothing wrong with it".

Well done you, OP, for keeping your cool and not shouting out obscenities. I just hop about saying, "Oo, oo, oo."
