Sort of a TAAT - Which celebs have you had any sort of liaison with (flirting through to getting jiggly with)? Purely nosiness and wanting to live my life vicariously because I'm 41 and sitting under a blanket watching big bang theory having spent the evening listening to DS2 talking about 5 nights with fucking freddie.

Marti Pellow - you've been busted!

TheFormidableMrsC · 12/02/2015 00:11

Oooh Comfort...hmmmm name sounded a bit French Wink

FightOrFlight · 12/02/2015 00:13

Or maybe not Sad

TheFormidableMrsC · 12/02/2015 00:15

Fight...ooh he was lovely! It wasn't him though...

FightOrFlight · 12/02/2015 00:17

Simon LeBon?

TheComfortOfStrangers · 12/02/2015 00:19

A bit French? Ah, no... The Formidable a different one then.
FightOrFlight may or may not have been on the right track, though

DrElizabethPlimpton · 12/02/2015 00:22

I didn't snog JP. I just rejected him! I had a BF so he didn't stand a chance.
I do hope he found love in the end!

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 12/02/2015 00:39

I reckon "the sweet one from Friends" is David Schwimmer. Wiki says he is married to an English one, and they had a private ceremony, and now have a little girl called Cleo.

I don't think Ross was sweet though, more like a PITA

Adarajames · 12/02/2015 00:49

Elephants that sounds about right Smile

CountryMummy1 · 12/02/2015 01:02

I snogged Karl Pilkington at a Welsh holiday camp when I was 14. Not one to brag about I'm afraid.

My mom was propositioned in the back of a van by Noddy Holder...she said no Blush

Back in the '90s I worked as a nanny in West London. Simon Le Bon lived just a few streets down from me. He used to drive around in his convertible and asked if I wanted to get in so many times it got really annoying . To make matters worse I always had the kids with me, usually in a buggy and I was wearing scruffy jeans with baby puke on my shoulder. It wasn't really flattering, especially since he did the same thing to my other nanny friends.

WaroftheRoses · 12/02/2015 01:30

I went out with celebrity vet Joe Inglis before he was famous. Wink

JoffreyBaratheon · 12/02/2015 01:33

Very early 80s, I was walking down a street in Moseley, Birmingham and this rather nice looking lad, same age as me, ran the length of the street telling me he had a record deal and he was excited and would I go for a drink with him, etc and I was incredibly flattered as I fancied him. But had a boyfriend waiting at home. Plus I thought he was drunk. He was coming out a pub his band played at regularly. Very shortly after we saw him on 'Top of The Pops' and told my boyfriend "That's the lad that chased me down the street, asking me out!" It was Ali Campbell of UB40 and it turned out his dad - a well known folk singer my then boyfriend was a fan of - lived on the next street to us, so I wasn't imagining things. We signed on at the same dole office.

Heard him on the radio a couple of years back talking about buying his wife a £5000 pair of jeans. Ah feck. And here's me living on minimum wage in a fecking council house. He'd probably have dumped me the minute he got famous anyway. He was very intriguing to look at.

My ex was in a cockney soap opera also did some theatre in London. I can't name him as I have two kids 'fathered' by him. He had lost his looks by the time I knew him. But he was good for bitchy anecdote about other actors.

Mate of mine shagged Adam Ant in his heyday. She said he was the best shag she ever had. Somehow, I can believe that.

And one of my old university friends had a LTR with Jimmy Paige. Back in the 1980s so there was a bit of an age gap between her and him. I met him once - as I had no interest in his music and had never heard of him I managed to be very un-starstruck. He seemed like a really nice bloke. Played acoustic guitar for us.

StayGoldPonyBoy · 12/02/2015 01:45

DH used to be a bit of a sleb! He was in a rather successful band a few years back, they did get in the charts but it's over and done with now, was never his dream and is 'only a drummer' so not many people know his name or face, though he does get recognised in the local pub and chippy, and it funded our mortgage while it lasted! Grin

My auntie went to school with Gareth Gates and says she shagged him at a partyHmm

alleypalley · 12/02/2015 01:55

I got up close and personal with Paul Bettany once. Well that is to say I walked into him in a very busy Covent Garden, literally face planted into his chest, he's very tall, and very handsome.

I had a very brief fling with an Xfm dj many years ago, I doubt anyone has heard of him though, his name was Robin Banks.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 12/02/2015 01:57

Ah come on StayGold, give us a clue :)

Really Envy of the woman who shagged Adam Ant, even the FWR section got all of a dither over him.

Mrsstarlord · 12/02/2015 06:49

I'm so happy reading about how exciting your lives are

First boyfriend is now the drummer for the Beautiful South/ Paul Heaton&Jacqui Abbot. He is a lovely person.

It was only recently that seeing him and DP made me realise i definitely have a "type"

Idontseeanysontarans · 12/02/2015 07:59

alleypalley Robin Banks who used to be on Atlantic 252? I loved listening to him!

TiredButFine · 12/02/2015 08:03

This thread is great! I don't even mind if the "sleb" names are secret! I too had a brief thing with a coke addled comedian in the 90's (they all were as far as I could tell) he was particularly clingy and wouldn't leave me alone, called me all the time day and night. Then one day he called and said he couldn't see me any more because he had a girlfriend?! Was much relieved. Is a bit Blush if he turns up on the telly

Wittynamehere · 12/02/2015 08:16

I had a kiss and cuddle with someone on fame academy when he was a redcoat guessing that doesn't count lol

EveDallas · 12/02/2015 08:16

I had a deep and meaningful overnight relationship with a Bass Guitarist of an 80s band, he was 'unbelievable' (but dead now, such a waste)

I've also had a cuppa with Ewan McGregor. He was my Ex's housemate at school. Was just after he'd done 'lipstick on your collar' and wasn't that famous then.

GoEasyPudding · 12/02/2015 08:23

Me too with Jimmy Pursey, and said no. That's four of us then? It's not one to boast about anymore though my friends. Have a little lookie on the google to see why.

alleypalley · 12/02/2015 08:38

Yes Idontseeany, that's the one.

dancestomyowntune · 12/02/2015 08:49

I had a few dates and a bit of a fumble (and a longer friendship!) with a lovely lad in my teens who has since moved to Hollywood and been in lots of things, most notably Mama Mia and Desperate Housewives. He was a lovely lad but I was very mixed up at the time and I ended our very brief relationship mainly because he was younger than me and I felt very self conscious about that we are still in touch via Facebook and I am very happy that he is doing so well.
