Sort of a TAAT - Which celebs have you had any sort of liaison with (flirting through to getting jiggly with)? Purely nosiness and wanting to live my life vicariously because I'm 41 and sitting under a blanket watching big bang theory having spent the evening listening to DS2 talking about 5 nights with fucking freddie.

I happen to know that back in the day there was a footballer whose chat-up line was "Hi, I'm Ryan Giggs" and dear reader... I snogged him. Blush

FightOrFlight · 11/02/2015 23:18

I never realised Paul Weller had a farm! Must be a 'thing' with blokes in the music industry, what with that cheesemaker from Blur etc.

UptownFlunk · 11/02/2015 23:18

I got told by Louis de Berniere (the bloke who wrote Captain Corelli's Mandolin) that I was very beautiful - does that count? I got the feeling it was a line that had gone done well in the past with literary groupies. I told him my husband thought so. He pulled this face.... Hmm

Hobbes8 · 11/02/2015 23:19

John Hannah once touched my hand on the tube.

BeaBoo · 11/02/2015 23:24

My DP snogged Juliette Lewis at a gig once.

wowfudge · 11/02/2015 23:27

I once chatted to Philip Glenister on a train. Not much of a liaison and he was wearing a white shell suit. Pre-Life on Mars.

magimedi · 11/02/2015 23:27

My DH danced with Marianne Faithful at the Ricky Tick club.

TheComfortOfStrangers · 11/02/2015 23:27

Got off with, then had a few phone calls with sometime pop star in 1987, just weeks before his band got into the charts for the first time.
Didn't like him that much really, but he was pretty good looking then but not now, just googled him

Adarajames · 11/02/2015 23:30

My sister went out with Damien Lewis, before he headed off to fame in US. Also some lesser known (but nicer I reckon!) there actors

One of her friends is married to the sweet one from Friends- the guests were met at station and driven to secret venue to avoid anyone letting journalists know about the wedding in advance

Adarajames · 11/02/2015 23:31

Other not there

WookeyMonster · 11/02/2015 23:38

I was in a night club and Chesney Hawkes (I am the one and only) asked me to dance not once but three times - each time refused. Only after it had been whispered in my ear who the fuck he was did I oblige Grin

meandjulio · 11/02/2015 23:39

Exactly Wookey - you don't get to top the hit parade by not being persistent Grin

PrettyFeet · 11/02/2015 23:41

It was the footballer thing when we were younger. So dated Don Shanks (never shagged him)

Dated another bloke from a band that got a one hit on top of the pop, never shagged him either.

Bunked in to a fair few events over the west london studios. went to a bananarama event and nicked all their drink.

Bunked into a petshop boys event and did the same.

My father was a carpenter for a bloke called Felix Dennis when he was first starting out (now a multi millionaire) and we were invited to events...So, Janet Street Porter was there swearing her arse off. Denis waterman was there and drunk as a sack.

Bellerina2 · 11/02/2015 23:42

Which sweet one from Friends?

Adarajames · 11/02/2015 23:45

I didn't watch friends so don't know the name but gave vague idea one of the blokes was a bit of a show off but other was sweeter but like u say, didn't really ever watch so might be totally wrong! Know it was friends though!

caroldecker · 11/02/2015 23:46

I massaged David Baddiel at an Oxford ball

PrettyFeet · 11/02/2015 23:47

Im on a roll now.

Friends dad used to work at top of the pops so... drank at the bar with members of duran duran etc. Tony Hadley asked me for a date, I said no Grin they were just people like we all are. Never been star struck to be fair.

WookeyMonster · 11/02/2015 23:47

Paul Shane (sadly now deceased) used to drink in a hostelry that I frequented a lot. Sean Bean drinks in a hostelry that I frequent now.

FightOrFlight · 11/02/2015 23:48

Wookey I remember a group of us drunkenly singing "The One and Only" outside Chesney's house in Sunningdale many years ago. He obliged by appearing at an upstairs window and waving at us with a big grin on his face. I think he was happy to be remembered and acknowledged even if it did mean having his peace disturbed by a bunch of pissheads.

FightOrFlight · 11/02/2015 23:52

If we're talking bar encounters rather than dating, Lemmy from Motorhead bought me a pint of snakebite at some gig in London about 30 years ago. He was a lovely chap, very gentlemanly.

ephemeralfairy · 11/02/2015 23:57

I had a drunken one night stand with the guy from-one-hit-wonder Bodyrockers. He was HOT.

TheFormidableMrsC · 11/02/2015 23:59

I am close to somebody who had a snog with a then very famous pop star in a band with a repetitive name. I witnessed this. Was v. jealous Grin.

I also went to a spinning class at my gym one day, there was a stand in teacher who was a total airhead. She boasted about a premier league footballer she'd spent the night before with. His wife was in the paper that day as she'd just given birth. What a pig.

pieceofpurplesky · 12/02/2015 00:03

There is a picture of me somewhere kissing Daniel Craig.. We were 4, does that count????

PrettyFeet · 12/02/2015 00:03

I work in a very up market place and see the "stars" quite a lot, never shagged any of them, ive had offers, but some how always able to refuse Grin

In saying that i remember going to a stage show of Elvis and Shaking Stevens was the "middle Elvis" he was the most facially gorgeous man I have ever seen (bit like himself) Shaking kissed me on the lips and said how pretty was, would i like to go on to an after party. The answer was no, but blimey, he was the most handsome man I have ever seen!

Don't know if you saw my post upthread, TheFormidable but my popstar was in a band with a repetitive name, too...
