Just that really. Never tried it but someone I know is making a killing and they are recruiting again. Feeling ever so slightly tempted to give it a go. Apparently I need to qualifications or experience and I do have a sales background. Please talk me out of it.

Juice Plus is the devil's piss. Do you WANT to be an agent of Devil's piss? Well, DO YOU?

Hakluyt · 11/02/2015 14:32

"Someone you know" is not making a killing. The only people making a killing are the people at the very top of the pyramid.

EdSheeran · 11/02/2015 14:33

YABU, Juice Plus is a bloody con.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 11/02/2015 14:34

Before you get involved check out what your initial outlay will be.

Then read up on pyramid schemes, and remember you will be at the bottom of the pyramid.

CleanLinesSharpEdges · 11/02/2015 14:37

Someone you know is making a killing - yeah okay, well they will be when they've recruited a couple hundred more gullible people Hmm.

VitoCorleonePart2 · 11/02/2015 14:39

Could you please explain what on earth juice plus is? Ive heard of it and people are often selling it on our local Facebook page, it is some sort of meal replacement like Slim Fast?

LumpenproletariatAndProud · 11/02/2015 15:08

Its NOT making a killing, thats just your friend twlling you that. Because they will get money if they get you on board.

bloodygorgeous · 11/02/2015 15:09

Would you really invest your time and money in selling something because someone has told you they are making a killing?? If people didn't say they were making money hand over fist, they wouldn't get mugs people on board.

icelollycraving · 11/02/2015 15:10

Your 'friend' gets a bonus for getting you to be a sucker sign up.

AlpacaPicnic · 11/02/2015 17:08

From what I've read - mainly on here tbf - it's the quickest way to lose all your friends. I've read of people with cancer being told that juice plus will help them get better! Which is not just bullshit, it's cruel bullshit.
But it will never make you a millionaire.

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 11/02/2015 17:09

She's making a killing signing up other people to be her agents - ie she's making a killing by signing up people like you. You won't make a killing. I promise.

borisgudanov · 11/02/2015 17:13

YABTU not to see through this God-awful pyramid scheme in less than 0.7 seconds.

expatinscotland · 11/02/2015 17:14

I would be pissed off at friends flogging shite at me.

Anewmeanewname · 11/02/2015 17:28

How do otherwise sensible-seeming people fall for this? It's blatantly a scam! There must be some sort of brainwashing going on at the recruitment sessions, it's the only explanation

PtolemysNeedle · 11/02/2015 17:45

Your friend will make more money by signing you up, so you really can't believe everything she says. She's not giving you honest, impartial advice, because convincing you means more money for her.

But apart from anything else, do you really want to be someone that people start to avoid and hide on FB etc because you're pissing them all off with the sales you'll be desperate to make?

Eltonjohnsflorist · 11/02/2015 17:47

Surely you can't make decent money out of anything like this? Isn't it just like Avon, Tupperware etc- you might make some but it's still got to be considered poorly paid?

unlucky83 · 11/02/2015 18:26

Don't know about Juice plus but have never seen anyone make a killing on this kind of scheme...the only way to make any kind of money is to become an agent to lots of people so you take a cut out of lots of people's hard work...and they all need to have a 'new market'. I know of quite a few people who have signed up for this kind of thing - none of them did it for long...
And I know of someone who does something like this (not a well known one -and as a person she seems nice enough) and I know of 3 people she has signed up who haven't lasted very long - suspect the people signed up made a tiny amount if not a loss on the stock they bought - and the agent got a cut of any sales. Basically this agent has one or two places they go where they do make money ...and they often find 'fresh blood' there - the people they signed up have seen them do well there...but the agent has been in this area for years, has tried everywhere and keeps the best 'markets' for themselves. The new starts have to find a new market...but the agent has already tried more or less everywhere...there isn't one - or if there is they would be lucky to find it. So the sign ups are stuck trying to sell to friends etc who soon get pissed off with them...

lougle · 11/02/2015 18:49

I'm sorry. It's so hard. You know you're being unreasonable.

Anewmeanewname · 11/02/2015 19:27

This is worth a read

londonrach · 11/02/2015 19:33

If you dont love it you cant sell it!!!

TidyDancer · 11/02/2015 19:37

If you want to join a cult and piss off all your friends and family, go for it. If you don't want to do those things, run like the wind away from it.

tankflybosswalkjamnittygritty · 11/02/2015 20:24

Thanks everyone, I needed to hear all of that. I know its a bad idea but I work in a very low paid job (doing something I really like) and would really love some extra cash. It wont be selling JP though.

Keletubbie · 11/02/2015 21:34

The difference between Juice Plus and the likes of Avon is that Avon sell stuff people actually want. Avon or not, I'd still be buying bubble bath, shower gel, etc.

blackheartsgirl · 11/02/2015 22:05

My sister in law (dp brothers wife) sells this shite and constantly tries to tag me in her statuses about juice plus.pisses me right off
