to find it amusing that I fancy the pants off DH but not his celebrity alter ego

Because DH is very offended that I don't fancy his Hollywood heartthrob doppelganger and can't see how I can fancy and love him but not fancy the Hollywood hunk.

Clearly this is a bit of silliness but is my DH alone to get the arse over something so petty?

I think personality has a lot of to do with how attractive I find someone. So husband and Hollywood hunk may look the same, but the different personas are what makes attracted to one than the other.

confused that's how I see it. There is no denying they look alike (and no I'm not saying who it is!) just I only fancy a whole person and not just a face on a screen or magazine

I totally understand what you mean. I can fancy the arse off an actor auing a certain role but he can give me the boak playing someone else. It's most likely because I fancy the character as a whole personality and all rather than just the outward appearance.
I fancied dp when we first met but my god he is waaaaay hotter to me now because I like him too.
