What if he sold the chocolate AND your knickers? Disaster! Grin

WorraLiberty · 06/02/2015 16:06

Well I'm not entirely sure if you're being serious or not. You don't seem to be, but then when it comes to being called pathetic, I'm sensing you are.

Either way, I couldn't live in a house where I had to hide food just to stop someone else from eating it.

TwatFaceBitch · 06/02/2015 16:09

Bet some dirty sod would buy chocolate stained knickers on eBay.

FightOrFlight · 06/02/2015 16:12

We hide crisps, sweets and chocolate in our house if we've stocked up when something is on offer. If it was all put in the cupboard my 18 year old would eat the lot within a day week.

I don't need to hide my chocolate as it's dairy-free and nobody else would touch it with a bargepole. They have no idea what they are missing (and hope it remains that way. All the Booja Booja truffles are mine

geekymommy · 06/02/2015 16:12

Do they have any other ideas about how you can ensure that there is chocolate for you when you want it? It's not fair that they should get chocolate and you don't, surely they can see that?

Lol, everything is a crisis in MN land. If you hide the chocolate, you've got an eating disorder now!

IHaveBrilloHair · 06/02/2015 16:23

I hide my good cheese in the salad drawer.

OwlinaTree · 06/02/2015 16:27

BankWadger · 06/02/2015 16:37

I find my hand bag is a handy hiding place.

RocketInMyPocket · 06/02/2015 17:48

I have a "large letter" sized box in my office which can hold 4 wispa and 4 flakes... for busy times when I need choklit but can't be arsed to go downstairs to get some. Not hiding it, just conveniently out of sight.

Wink

As anything left in the cupboard is fair game once OH gets the munchies.

TheCunnyFunt · 06/02/2015 18:06

I hide mine in my sewing box or in my fabric boxes :o

StormBraver · 06/02/2015 18:07

I just had to go and get some chocolate - from the chocolate tin, not hidden, as I live all by myself!
My mum hides chocolate in her wardrobe so I always nick some to eat when I am visiting. Sorry Mum!

punter · 06/02/2015 18:07

When I had 3 teenagers (and their pals) in the house I used to do he supermarket shop and then leave most of it (snacks, fruit, bread and cereal) in the boot of the car. So I could gradually move stuff into the house over the week, otherwise as others have said it would all be gone in 24 hours.

MGFM · 06/02/2015 18:40

My mum used to hide the chocolate biscuits when I was younger (now 31) mainly from us children but also from my dad. We almost always found them :). Once she hid them in the grill above the oven. Put the oven on to cook dinner and melted all the choc biscuits. If your family are anything like mine were then def need to hide the biscuits! Currently 36 weeks pregnant and my DH likes to put my sweets and treats on top of the cupboard as he knows I can't reach! He finds it funny. Luckily he is inly joking and gets them down once I have turned the kitchen upside down looking for them!

BankWadger · 06/02/2015 21:00

I'd be needing them at 2 o'clock in the morning and waking him up if I were you MGFM That would soon sort that out!

ImCatbug · 06/02/2015 21:36

I have to hide my chocolate from DH, he will scoff it immediately! Only time he doesn't is when it's dark chocolate, as he hates it - which is a win for me Grin

isitsnowingyet · 06/02/2015 21:43

So many who have to hide chocolate in their own homes.

Twas ever thus.
