DH and his stupid logic.

I get up at 6am for work. DH (SAHP) gets up at 8am ish with DS. He reckons that on my days off if I get up with DS at 8 and he stays in bed until 10 it would be fair because we'd both be getting 2 hours lie in.

I think his logic is mean, surely he gets 2 hours extra in bed every day I'm in work early so 6 - 8 hours a week? So on at least one of my days off I should probably stay in bed until lunchtime to catch up? Grin

AIBU to think DH's logic is flawed and that he needs to share out lie in time more fairly?

WIBU to just stay in bed in protest until he agrees that we both get one morning each until 9 / 9.30 instead?

Should I LTB Wink

I'd reply with the logic that as he gets 2 hours extra x5days a week, then he is 10 hours better off than you, so you get to lie in for 5 hours on both of Saturdzy and Sunday in order to make it fair each week. [Grin]

My dh and I have one lie in each over the weekend. I told my friend and her and her dh decided to do the same until he announced that as he chose to start getting up to play football on Saturday (his lie in day) so my friend has to get up as well with children, he should get a lie in on Sundays instead. I'm not sure whether his logic, or that she let's him get away with it amazes me more?

I read this thread to my DH who roared with laughter and said "What a bastard! But hats off to him, though."
