To think I am not 'too old' to have fossil bags?

I have just sold a mulberry handbag on ebay and I told the buyer I wouldn't have used it as I am really into fossil bags at the moment. She replied and said she was ''too old'' for those. I am confused.... are they for young people? I am 35..am I too old for them too?

I have 3 fossil bags. I'm 34. I only heard of them because I like the bags. Never thought of the brand as for young uns.

the preston crossbody is lovely, I'd like a summer bag. Never had a summer bag and I feel I deserve one at my advanced age.

there was only one time somebody posted 'am i too old for this bag?' and I thought yes. It was a creepy looking yoke with pictures of japanese girls on it. It was creepy. that poster was a decade younger than i am but i thought it was a teenager bag and I'm afraid i said so.

Ands mile - I bet one of those was a field coat :) that's why a speperte bank account is needed - my hubby is frugal he wouldn't get the 'I need more than one coat' thing.

I got a longline quilted one and a very naicely tailored tweed one (long)

MrsTawdry no idea if this is your style, but in of the shops on Etsy I like is dleather. I love her fringed Boho bags, and the colours are beautiful

I browse occasionally but I'm trying to be good. Last count I had about 15 Radley bags and I really dare not buy more or it will result in divorce

The fossil shop at Cheshire oaks has some bargains occasionally, though as it's virtually opposite Radley I usually fall in there instead.
I would like a new fossil but I can't help loving the batteredness of mine. It's well loved.

Yes ive a battered fossil bag too , in dark brown. Love it. It was 50 from tk maxx but that was 7 years ago. I regularly pop back in to tk maxxlooking for a similar bargain but i dont see goodd fossi bags in tk maxx anymore.

When the clocks go forward i think i will get myself a summer bag :-p ( and wallet).

I only have three handbags. Two are fossil!

The reason i only have three handbags is that i got rid of all my non leather bags when i was about 39/40.

So i do understand that in your own head u feel past some stage of bag! For me, pvc oasis type bags.

But a nice leather bag!!! Never too young or old. My mother and my daughter would agree. Actually my dd loves radley bags because of the dangling puppy. She has a pink one (her grandma did pass it on mind you). It is cute.

I am 70 and have a fossil bag. I don't like it much because all the metal trimming is a bit heavy and awkward. Can you actually sell them?

thegreylady - you can sell anything on ebay!

sistersofpercy - I often go to Cheshire Oaks - spend loads of time in that section near the fossil shop, there is a Joules, Radley, Mulberry etc all nicely located nearby too. Cheshire Oaks is my favourite place to shop :)
