Series Three?

*Chandler and Joey get the chick and duck
*Ross reveals what a controlling bastard he is
*the others getting trapped in Monicas bedroom listening to R&R argue
*The One Where They Are All Late - were Ross is trying to get them all to his works dinner on time
*Pete successfully wooing Monica
*Monicas fake boobs and hair
*Chandler and Phoebe's conversation about why it is SpiderMAN and not Spidermun

I could go on.

It is the best of all ten series.Fact.

Like the Thanksgiving dinner where Rachel muddles recipes. Ross struggles to eat while Joey happily devours his share of 'trifle'. Still quote "It tastes like FEET" when unable to eat something I've cooked that's bombed and only DD knows what I'm on about.

Series two saw an episode feature guest star Charlie Sheen as Phoebe's navy guy Ryan. Unluckily she catches chicken pox just as he's about to pay a rare visit.

basgetti · 03/02/2015 09:26

I hated Ross in the first 3 seasons but after that he became my favourite character by far. His physical comedy and his facial expressions were brilliant.

I loved the episode where Mona wanted to know where their relationship was heading. 'We're having fun, you look young. In fact you're getting younger by the second. What's your secret?'

Also the one with the memorial service. 'Nobody called, nobody left any messages, nobody cares that I'm dead. NOBODY CARES THAT I'M DEAD??'

Also most scenes with Ross and Joey together, especially the one after Joey inadvertently proposed to Rachel and whilst trying to clear the air keeps accidently punching Ross in the face.

We use your name a lot in our house when we're moving things!

Its funny how many phrases we use originated from Friends!

Lweji · 03/02/2015 10:37

Expressions such as
I hate Friends. Not.

bumbleymummy · 03/02/2015 10:42

Season 3 and 4 for me. :)

CharityD · 03/02/2015 14:21

It's been mentioned, I know, but I love the one where Ross gets his teeth whitened, and has to keep covering them up, while on the date...mmmm, uh huh, with the wine glass held up, and the bread roll that he has to pretend to be sniffing at. Grin

'What was wrong with your old...human teeth?' Grin

I always say "could I BE anymore "

purplefeathers · 03/02/2015 21:41

Chandler's job interview and the whole duties/doodies thing Smile

Ijustworemytrenchcoat · 03/02/2015 22:49

Yes basgetti, the inverted commas: "I'm 'sorry'" Grin

When I started watching it again after a long break (channel 4 killed it for me for years with endless repeats) it surprised me how soon in the series they put Monica and Chandler together. I always thought it was very late on, but it was the season with Phoebe having triplets.

WireCat · 03/02/2015 23:11

Friends is my absolute favourite. I still watch it almost daily.

I love the episode where Ross & Rachel get together. I still cry when I watch the final episode.

The leather trousers are comedy genius.

Most if the episodes are brilliant.

Didn't like Pete. Or when Rachel & Joey got together.

Monica & Chandler were a brilliant couple.

Dancergirl · 03/02/2015 23:23

Feebs is short for phoebe? I thought that's just what we called each other!

Love Ross' leather trousers and the fake tan one.

And the one where Joey gets a job in the museum with Ross and they all sit separately at lunch

Dancergirl · 03/02/2015 23:24

Must get my dds watching it....what age do you think it's suitable for? There are quite a lot of sexual references.

kennyp · 03/02/2015 23:35

when phoebe and rachel and joey know but monica and chandler don't know that they know.

so they don't know we know they know we know. etc.
i'm going to kiss you now. phoebe to chandler
not unless i kiss you first. chandler to phoebe.

hugsy - joey's bedtime penguin pal.

etc etc.

and ross's flirting with the pizza girl. the smell of gas/i happen to like eight year old boys.

Lweji · 03/02/2015 23:40

Oh My God

TendonQueen · 04/02/2015 11:44

Have just seen

Ross: You don't believe in evolution?
Phoebe: No, not really. Darwin, monkeys; it's a nice story, but it's a little too easy.
Ross: So how do you explain opposable thumbs?
Phoebe: Maybe the overlords needed them to steer their spacecraft.

Just watching The one with Rachel's book, where Phoebe moves in with Ross, and he comes home to find her giving a massage, in his apartment Grin.

CharityD · 14/02/2015 14:38

Just watched one from Series Four, The one with the ballroom dancing, where Joey and Treeger dance on the roof of the apartment building. One of my all time favourites Grin.

CharityD · 14/02/2015 14:39

Season Four.
