Series Three?

*Chandler and Joey get the chick and duck
*Ross reveals what a controlling bastard he is
*the others getting trapped in Monicas bedroom listening to R&R argue
*The One Where They Are All Late - were Ross is trying to get them all to his works dinner on time
*Pete successfully wooing Monica
*Monicas fake boobs and hair
*Chandler and Phoebe's conversation about why it is SpiderMAN and not Spidermun

I could go on.

It is the best of all ten series.Fact.

"Meet Princess Consuala Bananahammock".

But don't forget she's going to have her friends call her Valerie.

The one with Ross' grant. "Spell Mbsocodicteosaur" "No it begins with a silent 'm'". Then Charlie spells it perfectly much to Ross' disgust.

Bruce Willis: best guest spot ever. He was fantastic. And I thought Brad Pitt as Will was great too, which the whole "We Hate Rachel Club".

Friends could easily be my specialist subject on Mastermind...

I cried so much when Friends ended. I was a teenager when it started, and an adult when it finished.

Ijustworemytrenchcoat · 31/01/2015 11:32

Chandler is my favourite. I love the way Janice keeps popping up throughout - when Chandler agrees to go on a blind date with Joey and his date, at the infertility clinic and most of all the scene in Central Perk which ends in him stealing her shoe 'You love me Chandler Bing'. Is that the episode that ends with him and Phoebe singing Endless Love?

Ross telling Joey how to impress Charlie at the museum which is foiled because he couldn't tell left from right!

I agree with the poster who said the Rachel and Joey thing didn't ring true, I would edit that out of the series if I could.

Same here. Chandler is my favourite too.
Yes, I think it is the one where they end up singing Endless Love.

I was just watching on last night where Joey and Ross end up dating the same girl, and when Ross spots her at the start, and they go to say hello, Chandler turns into a simpering creature, even though had had said he is so confident now, with girls, because of being engaged. Grin

Love love love friends! Seasons 6-10 are my favs.

my fave eps are

The one where ross got high 'hurricane gloria didn't break the porch swing, Monica did!'
The one with the lottery - Pheobe ' daddy wanna spank me' and Gleba, Emmas first word.
The flashbacks are great also, and I love the 'fat monica' scene when she is dancing and falls on the beanbag.

also PIVOT! And Pheobes 'Woo Hoo' for the speech when Monica is drunk at the suprise party, think this is the 'one where they all turn thirty.

Janice is amazing too.
I think my fav character is Pheobe, especially when she shouts at her wedding rehearsal and her birthday dinner when the others are late 'for gods sake Judy, pick up the sock, pick up the SOCK!!

Slightly friends obsessed here Grin

GingerLDN · 31/01/2015 13:40

Joeys letter to the adoption agency. Rossell/Rosstopher? Lobster. Richard, yum. Janice. Drunk Monica. Eddie. Brad Pitt. PIVOT!! All flashback episodes. Joey's French lessons. I got off the plane. Didn't like Mike or Joey and Rachel getting together.

Bluetone · 31/01/2015 14:50

MrsC Grin

The cookie recipe "this is why you're burning in hell" about her grandmother lying about the recipe.

IsadoraQuagmire · 31/01/2015 15:05

Not a specific series, just any episode with lots of Phoebe, because she's so beautiful and funny. And as little as possible of Rachel, because I can't stand the character.

Whatisaweekend · 31/01/2015 15:25

How about the one where Sting's son is bullying Ross' son because his mother is a "lesbonim"!!

Chandler is my absolute fave. Also loved Richard and Mike but didn't really like Bruce Willis in it. Just didn't quite fit, somehow.

Still such a good show - it has really stood the test of time.

Lweji · 31/01/2015 15:27

It's really funny when they start telling each other's secrets as revenge for something.

And the 80s episodes with the nose, the obesity, the 80s hair and clothes.

dustarr73 · 31/01/2015 15:40

I love Ross in Friends especially when they make him go Psycho. Also the fake tan and the leather trousers. They are very funny episodes.

CharityD · 31/01/2015 15:49

I thought of another... Where the old lady dies during her massage, and her spirit goes into Phoebe.
It's the one where Carol and Susan get married.

'Such a pretty face'...

Her husband says she said she wanted to sleep with him one last time... 'I'm sorry there's laughing in my head'.
And he shrugs to Joey 'worth a shot'... Grin

ZanyMobster · 31/01/2015 15:58

I love Friends, I pretty much watch an episode or two every day, whatever is showing on the comedy channel.

Chandler and Monicas engagement makes me cry without fail every time, there are so many bits that make me cry actually, also ' I got off the plane ' makes me very choked up.

I loved Gavin from Rachels work and Richard /Mike are fabulous. My favourite smaller character is definitely Ross and Monicas dad, he is so funny.

The episodes with Eddie in are brilliant, so funny and also Phoebe's brother.

I actually love most of it, the only bit is didn't like was Joey/Rachel as I just couldn't see the chemistry at all there.

Bluetone · 31/01/2015 16:20

I hate Joey and Rachel together too.

Wasn't keen on the episodes with Monica and Pete either. That storyline with him wanting to be a cage fighter was shirt!

NickiFury · 31/01/2015 16:41

Ross was always my favorite, his physical comedy is second to none. I know he is not a favorite of MN but I love him, his episodes where always the funniest.

"Sheesh Ross how much do you weigh?!"

"I'd rather not answer that right now, I'm still carrying a little holiday weight"

GrinGrinGrin

NickiFury · 31/01/2015 16:50

I'm telling you I did NOT propose to Rachel! I didn't!...........did I?............it DOES sound like something I would do.

Grin
dustarr73 · 31/01/2015 17:27

Im watching the one wiht the tan.Im laughing so hard. Its gas.

42notTrendy · 31/01/2015 18:23

The one at breakfast in Las Vegas when Ross and Rachel realise they got married. Priceless. Perfect comic timing.

LeBearPolar · 31/01/2015 18:43

I use so many Friends quotations when teaching and the kids do still get them even after all these years. My most overused one is when a student says something really random, and I pause, look at the class and say "The word you're all looking for is Anywayyyyyyyyy..."

I have my Ross intonation perfect Grin

CharityD · 31/01/2015 18:46

The one at breakfast in Las Vegas when Ross and Rachel realise they got married. Priceless. Perfect comic timing.

Love that one. Phoebe 'I'm so drunk'...and Joey ladling scrambled egg onto his plate.

I watched the one earlier where the student pretends to be in love with Ross, in order to get a good grade. Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 31/01/2015 18:52

Ginger Grin - tootdelafrute

TisAwfulSad · 31/01/2015 18:58

I thought it got better as it went on, actually. Phoebe and Chandler were my favourites and they developed as characters and were funnier and funnier.

I love the one where Phoebe cuts Monica's hair ('I said Demi Moore!'), and all of Phoebe's songs Grin.

The only character I truly disliked was Emily (sorry Helen whatsyername).

ijustwanttobeme · 31/01/2015 19:43

Don't know the series or episode numbers, but some of my faves are:

When Rachel finds out that Ross has always liked her
When Monica tries to re record the messages on Richard's answerphone
'Could I be wearing any more clothes?'
When Phoebe and Rachel go jogging
The leather trousers
Oh thought you said De Mi Moore ...
When Ross says Rachel instead of Emily
The one with Christie Hyde in it

Did not like the one:
with the turkey on Monica's head
All the English actors in the London episodes- just cringeworthy
Some of Ross's more whingier moments

I loved Janice, Mike, Richard in their supporting roles.

It's the family go to box set (prev had all 10 on VHS, before upgrading to DVDs), if feeling a bit hmm, or there's nothing on TV or a film isn't quite the thing.

It's easy to watch, laugh out loud usually, and we can quote line by line.

Obsessed? No, not us ??

ScrambledEggAndToast · 31/01/2015 20:13

Love it when Ross has the spray tan that goes wrong and the bright white teeth GrinGrin

LoveVintage · 31/01/2015 20:48

My favourite line, along with the "holiday weight" one above, is by Jack Geller -

"Of course it did, they're made of wicker".

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 31/01/2015 20:58

Love friends, I can't pick a season but have just realised that my favourite episodes are all around Ross but he's my least favourite - go figure.

I still think that the leather pants / paste pants and fake tan episodes are some of the funniest things I've seen on TV
