I think I was probably unsettled by someone commenting about Facebook sharing of MN posts. I know the site is googleable and try to be aware of that but the FB thing makes me feel I'm being played.

And while it's thrilling to see how many brilliant people there are here it's saddening to contemplate that they must be outnumbered 20 to 1 by the sort of people who throw the phrase chip on your shoulder about.

Benefit threads, council house threads, thread after fucking thread about kids in restaurants and cafes.Racist threads.It'se a 'lets press MN buttons' free for all.

I've seen 3 or 4 threads I've posted on disappear in the last couple of days though. I feel like some kind of Jonah.

It is odd. When there's an invasion some clever cookie MNer usually finds the source.

If a posters house was the F&B one, surely piping up "that's my gaff" would be more outing than just ignoring it.

It's rife. Getting heartily sick of it. I've even argued with MN over it and I hate doing that. But the skewed moderation is getting annoying again.
