To not let DD read Dear Zoo?

I am a hormonal and sleep deprived woman under the influence of PFB... but it's really not very nice to send animals back to the zoo, or in fact to keep them there in the first place!

To avoid any problems with the DC ever wanting a pet as a result of Dear Zoo, I always add "cuddly" before "dog"...

That is genius! Problem solved Grin

Dear Zoo was DS's favourite book a few weeks ago. Just read the book and be grateful that your DD's new favourite book isn't a musical Wheels On The Bus book. Arggggghhhhh 'the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round .......' And repeat....Ad infinitum!

This is ds's favourite book at the moment. Dd was never particularly fussed about it, but ds has to have it read every night, then he cuddles up next to it to go to sleep; and it's a board book version! Grin

Oh, I loved Dear Zoo for both my kids! Made all the animal noises and the book is very well loved :) YABU!

What noise does a camel make, out of interest? Harrumph?

Or a giraffe?

I have never really mastered trumpeting like an elephant either. Zero mummy points here!
