Why "well done"? Dating someone isn't an achievement.

The thing with older women dating younger men vs older men dating younger women is that it is unusual. From both a social perspective and a "survival of the species" one too.

There are lots of studies which indicate women seek out men who are older and men who seek out women who are younger for security/fertility, respectively, all on a subconscious level. Obviously this is usually to lesser rather than greater extents in terms of age gaps.

I don't care if Lorraine Pascal dates a younger man anymore than I care that Bradley Cooper is dating a younger woman.
