Wibu to not wash gym stuff after every use?

Not sure if awbu!

I've started working out at home (Jillian Micheals DVDs - ouch!) so far only done 2 days in a row but planning to do 5/6 a week so pretty much every day.

I'm not a big sweater (despite working out bloody hard!) so I feel a bit wasteful washing gym stuff after just one use, it doesn't smell just a bit damp if you see what I mean :/ I feel like it could be worn at least once more before washing is necessary! I only have one 'set' of workout stuff at the moment

Am I being environmentally conscious or skinky?

You're at home. Who's going to know or care?

MamaLazarou · 24/01/2015 22:50

I would wash it. But like skylark says, who will know?

justabigdisco · 24/01/2015 22:50

I do this. It doesn't smell and you're only going to sweat in it again anyway.

MrsBertMacklin · 24/01/2015 22:51

YANBU, especially if you don't sweat (I don't either, unless I'm doing any sustained cardio).

I leave mine over an airer overnight, wear most tops 3 times.

WyrdByrd · 24/01/2015 22:53

I used to go to the gym & only washed after 2 or 3 wears.

If you're not overly sweaty/smelly then what's the problem, even more so if you're at home.

WiseKneeHair · 24/01/2015 22:54

If you were going to a gym, I would say YABU. However, at home, do whatever you want.
I wash my stuff after each use but I sweat lots and can't do a star jump without weeing myself a little

AntiHop · 24/01/2015 23:33

I don't wash mine each time just air them.

Do your sports bra at least and change your knickers or you can get fungal infections and all kinds of nasties. The rest DW about!

BitOutOfPractice · 25/01/2015 00:28

Id say if you're not sweating enough to need to wash your bra, you're not working hard enough

Yy discopanda would definitely have clean pants but my sports bra is a sort of top with the bra built in so might not wash it every time just every other time?

Bitout, trust me I was working very hard, did a full 45 DVD & was sweating a bit but not full on dripping, I just never get like that. My face goes very very red but I just don't seem to sweat much :/
