Just had dinner with a friend. I'm really tempted to get a snazzy new phone so worked out that mine has cost me 38p a day.

Friend says that's good and that's earnt its keep, I think thats still a bit high as that's every single day for over two years.

I wish I wasn't drawn into shiney new things so much ;(

Mine's cost me 36p a day and I've had it for a year. I'm happy with that TBH, to the extent that I bought DP the new version of the same phone. It's less than the cost of a daily paper.

It's hard not to be drawn to new stuff. Usually I hold off and see if I still want it a month later. If I've forgotten by then, I know it's not important!
