To not care that my cat craps in neighbours gardens

I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

It's a bit of a worry for cat owners that also have a dog. Wondering when the dog will actually eat the cat.

usualsuspect333 · 17/01/2015 23:20

I like guinea pigs, they have nice hair.

Tinks42 · 17/01/2015 23:20

If i had a dog id certainly train it to make the nasty cats go away.

hiddenhome · 17/01/2015 23:21

Rabbits have dead eyes. Like a shark.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/01/2015 23:21

Free the squeaky love slaves - save the nibbley innocents

Sallystyle · 17/01/2015 23:21

If a cat came into my garden my dogs would probably run a mile from it.

I also had a Jack Russell who wanted to hunt everything but never rats or cats!

I have pet rats and my bulldog plays with it through the bars (I supervise)

They are defective.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/01/2015 23:22

I have 3 pigs - they are a delight - never mean, dead eyed or the slightest bit throat teary

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 23:22

You know what?

I bloody disapprove of deliberately having indoor cats.

That is totally unnatural.

If you don't want cats outside then fine. Just don't have a cat.

Shock Sparkling, I lift my dogs poo as soon as she does it. Its like a cheap handwarmer. I do use a bag btw.
I like this thread and I fucking hate cats Smile

hiddenhome · 17/01/2015 23:23

Yeah, Tinks you're actually becoming a bit repetitive now, could you perhaps vary it a bit? Confused

usualsuspect333 · 17/01/2015 23:23

I had a dog and cat ,they were best mates.

I wouldn't want a cat killing dog tbh.

Sparklingbrook · 17/01/2015 23:23

The people who I know who have dogs and cats the cat totally rules the roost, and the dogs have scratches on their noses to prove it.

Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 23:24

I got all serious there for a minute.

I apologise.

Funny you should say that unusual, my son had a hampster, we called him harry, he was long haired and absolutely gorgeous. we got another one when he died and it was never the same Sad

Sallystyle · 17/01/2015 23:25

I bloody disapprove of having outdoor cats

If you don't want to clear their shit up just don't have a cat!

usualsuspect333 · 17/01/2015 23:26

My cat doesn't really go outside in the winter. I've told him to man up and be a cat but he just went back to sleep in the airing cupboard.

Sallystyle · 17/01/2015 23:27

But I can't really bring myself to get worked up about it.

People don't have outdoor cats because they don't want to clean their shit up.

Sallystyle · 17/01/2015 23:28

I know.

I was trying to be lighthearted.

Obviously failed!

Cocolepew · 17/01/2015 23:29

Oops sorry Im in bed and there's no reception, so my phone goes bonkers

Tinks42 · 17/01/2015 23:30

the title of this thread was a gloaty fuck you, my cat shits where it wants. the answer was fuck you back and if it shits in my garden im entitled to take measures to ensure it never does that again, whatever those measures need to be.

Bettercallsaul1 · 17/01/2015 23:31

Free the squeaky love slaves That is a noble cause, ghostly! I, for one, will sign your petition.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/01/2015 23:31

I can't keep my cats indoors - as soon as I open the door they leg it - they like running wild

I can't imagine a cat not wanting to go out - do they really not even try?

I have 4 cats - think of the poo! (not sure my neighbours would want me breaking into their gardens with bags though)

3 of my 4 neighbours also have cats ...who go out - plus we have at least 4 other random regular visitors ...it's like a neighbourhood shit swap
