It's like picking a scab.

I can't keep away and am now scared of my own house and jump every time the baby monitor crackles.

And every time I think it's gone, it flipping well creeps back up the page!!

Hide it then.

nutsinwinter · 13/01/2015 19:41

YABU. I enjoy reading it.

Then last night I had to go to the loo in the middle of the night and I was terrified! Grin

Iveabsolutelynofekkingideadoi · 13/01/2015 19:43

Do not forget to look insert the bed!!! Ever.

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 13/01/2015 19:44

If I had the self control to hide it I wouldn't be in this mess.

I enjoy reading it, but it's freaking me out!

And don't even get me started on the Nurses ghost stories link on the last fucker!

fluffyraggies · 13/01/2015 19:49

FestiveElf · 13/01/2015 19:59

The last spooky thread led me to the Russian sleep experiment story and it has truly haunted me!

ZingTheGreat · 14/01/2015 04:12

I'm with you OP

no creepy threads for me, thanks

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 14/01/2015 05:56

Tbf this thread has been fairly tame compared to some of them. I have managed to keep up with it pretty ok when in the past I have gone nope and had to hide it before not sleeping. I have quite enjoyed it. But i say this having just freaked a friend out with a rather odd coincidence.

BathshebaDarkstone · 14/01/2015 06:05

YANBU. I really shouldn't read it in bed in the dark. Grin

LittleBairn · 14/01/2015 06:07

I didn't know about the creepy thread but now I do I'm thinking of creepy things and I haven't even read it!
This is why I'm banned from watching anything other than Disney movies...

Royalsighness · 14/01/2015 06:43

They scare me too!! But I can't stop reading!! And I'm scared and twitchy in my own home

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 14/01/2015 08:56

I managed to restrain myself from reading the Russian sleep experiment last time, but now I'm feeling compelled to.

Aargh!

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 14/01/2015 09:02

Fuckity fuck. Got halfway through it then bailed.
Why do I do this?? Please tell me it's an urban legend and not real????

OP posts:
AlpacaPicnic · 14/01/2015 09:06

It is in fact a work of fiction. I think it's meant to be a metaphor or something like that. But don't read it, it's yucky

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 14/01/2015 09:09

I got to when they opened the chamber and thought 'no thanks!'

It appears that it IS an urban legend. Phew.
