To ask which double buggy is best.

I'm sorry this isn't really an AIBU... but if you're knowledgeable about double buggies then I could do with some advice.

Buying a second hand double stroller to use when looking after other people's dc as well as my own. Won't need it very often. I've found 2 options.

One is an Obaby double width for £20, the other is an Oyster double width for £60. The Oyster one has cosy toes and a raincover.

I don't have long to decide. Both are clean and hardly used.

Advice please, and thanks.

Yes - it's a 'Jane be Cool' - sounds cooler than it is.

Yes, it's very unreasonable to think that AIBU is the best place to ask this.

Newlywed2013 · 09/01/2015 23:26

I have an oyster single for my dd it's brilliant handles well etc easy to fold/open! Don't know if that helps

There is an entire topic for buggy talk.

If either are anything like the twin Graco, which we got second hand for £70, then I highly recommend it.

Sorry for not being more help, didn't want to read and run because I was in a similar dilemma but don't have time to look up the buggies you are talking about.

Good luck!

Thanks mameulah and Newlywed2013! Think I might get both and then sell on the one I like least.

The Oyster one is white too, it's rather gorgeous.

Definitely oyster.

mindthegap79 · 09/01/2015 23:38

I've bought both. Must now collect, road test and sell one on before DH notices. Thanks all!

Sorry for the post in aibu if it ruffled some feathers. I know there's a buggy chat board but it's not quite as busy as aibu at this hour on a Friday night, and time is of the essence on these Facebook selling pages.
