to think that "Dad of twins" is the worst car sticker ever?!

I mean...just why?

I plan to go into business supplying a car sticker saying "so what?" People can then slap these over offending stickers such as the aforementioned and other dullard, self-centred proclamations re the occupant's issue of their loins.

Who's in?! Grin

The worst one I saw was "my children have 4 paws"
No, they don't, your beloved pets might, though.

Made me so mad I tweeted about to.

mindthegap79 · 07/01/2015 00:19

I once saw one while on holiday in the US which said 'The Christian right is neither' - quite good I thought.

Onslow · 07/01/2015 00:51

I want to get an "adult on board - I don't want to die either" sticker made up.

MomOfTwoGirls2 · 07/01/2015 00:52

mindthegap, yes, exactly!

StarsOfTrackAndField · 07/01/2015 02:09

I saw a gaudily modified car with a 'lower than your granny's tits' i sticker in the back window.

Thing is the car hadn't even been lowered that much. The said Grandmother must have been remarkably pert.

I don't know if it's made its way across the pond yet, but in the US (at least my region of it) we are starting to see memorial decals on the rear windows of cars, something long the lines of "In loving memory of Uncle Billy Bob, 1930-2014. Forever in our hearts." Each to his own and all that, but I do find this a bit bizarre. They are usually on brand new behemoth SUVs. And I first thought that they were because Uncle Billy Bob had maybe bequeathed them the car (or the money to buy the car) but now you see them for pets as well. "Bubba, beloved bird dog. Forever in our hearts."

HowsTheSerenity · 07/01/2015 04:59

scone all the bogans (rednecks) have them on their cars here too.

Whenwillwe3meetagain · 07/01/2015 05:59

Saw a 'bump on board' a while ago. I wonder if they bought 'lil prince/princess on board' at the same time? Or maybe she got 3 for two and got a proud grandparents one too...

WobblyHalo · 07/01/2015 06:29

The stick figure families are huge here (South Africa).

And now you're starting to see little stick figures shagging with the words "making my family" along with it.

Urgh

AmazingBouncingFerret · 07/01/2015 07:22

My boyfriend said he'd get one made for me 'is this car being driven considerately? If so, call the police it's stolen'
Cheeky fucker. My driving is wonderful. It was one time, I cut someone up. On a roundabout I wasn't familiar with. One time!

Madmum24 · 07/01/2015 09:44

I was knew a precious family who had a baby and treated the "baby on board!" sticker thing as having protective powers. Their car broke down and a friend kindly gave them the loan of his car, but they couldn't drive it until they had got the sticker out of their car.

toomuchtooold · 07/01/2015 17:11

When we had twins by IVF after many years of recurrent miscarriage and investigations, my mum went out and bought us a "twins on board" sticker for the car. IVF twins are quite common (about 1/3 of twins born in the UK are conceived by IVF). So perhaps he wasn't celebrating his virility but simply the fact of being able to have children, at all.

ChristmasYoni · 07/01/2015 18:32

Best I've seen is "dad farted...we can't get out!"

PurpleHebe1 · 08/01/2015 21:38

I saw one of those stick families today where Dad appeared to have been removed, leaving a gap, Mum and a few children. Made me feel sad, wouldn't you remove the whole thing?

HappenstanceMarmite · 08/01/2015 22:53

^ maybe she is doing that whole Gloria Gaynor tragic, cliched "I will survive" shite

I had a FB rant once about how people who have bloody eyelashes on their cars or 'powered by fairy dust' stickers should have their licenses revoked as they're clearly not ready for the adult task that is driving two tons of metal.

It was, I think, my most popular status update ever. Well, really!

ZingTheGreat · 08/01/2015 23:14

how about "MNer on board" ?

SistersOfPercy · 08/01/2015 23:16

There is a sick person figure id consider, and I can't link to it because I'm on my phone and it wont let me Angry

It's Loki with his staff and the family kneeling before him. I thought it was brilliant but I drive a fiat 500 so I need all the window space I can get Grin

ZingTheGreat · 08/01/2015 23:16

I think I'll make one saying "I am yooneek"

SistersOfPercy · 08/01/2015 23:17

Let's see if this works.....

to think that "Dad of twins" is the worst car sticker ever?!
JohnQuig · 08/01/2015 23:18

Not as bad as the ones on facebook who list their job as "Full time mum" or "Yummy Mummy!"

Makes me want to vomit.

GothMummy · 09/01/2015 17:21

That's brilliant Sisters of Percy!! I WANT IT!!

LeftyLucy · 09/01/2015 17:49

I quite liked a 'Nobody cares about your stick figure family' sticker I saw recently.

I'm in the US and have also noticed the bizarre memorial decals. I never saw them when I lived on the east coast but have seen loads in California. Confused
