I view vegetarians as being unnecessarily fussy and daft. I have friends who are veggies, I will cook for them. Likewise, if someone has an allergy, I will respect that to the nth degree. But I still cannot shake my prejudice that veggies are attention seek-y or making a grand statement mainly cause most of my "veggie" friends stopped so they could stuff their faces with kebabs when drunk and said that they didn't eat bacon as a comment on society xD

Also, I am very, very judge-y about people who use text speak or lazy grammar. Even on things like Facebook. If you're dyslexic, fine. However, I am genuinely on the brink of removing a friend (well, friend of DH who latched on a bit) because her statuses make me want to throttle her.

All of this is wholly internalised and I would never say anything, obviously - tell me yours, no matter how petty / mean / judge-y they are.

People who use 'loose' when they mean 'lose'

ithoughtofitfirst · 07/01/2015 10:18

Hahahaaaaa about the coat thing I do that.

My mum always says "are you staying?"

Theoretician · 07/01/2015 10:34

I'm judging your DP/DH if he's wearing vom inducing grey tracksuit bottoms in public.

I wear grey tracksuit bottoms to fetch DD from school. Personally I think grey tracksuit bottoms are the classiest member of the comfortable leisurewear category, but will admit that whole category is dodgy. Half my current wardrobe is a consequence of a catalog shop done in 1995, so it's not like I care that much about clothes.

FatherDickByrne · 07/01/2015 11:03

Drivers who overtake cyclists & cross the white line into oncoming traffic. Er, no, you have to wait till there's space to overtake not force everyone in the opposite lane to slow down. I particularly hate this when there's a bus lane & I'm expected to pull into it even though doing so might incur a fine. Bog off!! This happened to me the other day & I refused to pull over. The other car was forced to stop overtaking and the driver spat, yes, spat on my windscreen. Nice.

sarkymare · 07/01/2015 11:40

IAU for:

Occasionally telling people (close friends) who fish for compliments, knowing full well they look great, that I agree they do look
Awful today with a raised brow.

Calling a person posting leaflets back to the door to hand him his crap back after he ignored my no junk mail sign.

I get unreasonably angry at the boring shit people post on Facebook. Sure people can post what they like but 'just woke up' or 'cooking dinner' is worthy of deletion.

I also silently rage at people who wish their very young children happy birthday on Facebook.
"happy birthday to my princess who turned 5 today! Mummy loves you lots!" go and tell your 5yo that not you're Facebook friends. You love your kids we get it! Stop pulling a Peter Andre.

I've laughed many many times at some of Frankie Boyles 'dark' jokes. I understand that if there is a hell. I'm probably heading for it for this alone.

I think the film frozen is completely overrated and cannot for the life of me understand the fuss. I want to scream every time I see or hear it which is bloody everywhere at the minute.

crje · 07/01/2015 11:58

And pink too. Bleurgh. (I know I am unreasonable about it)

OxonConfusedDotCom · 07/01/2015 12:33

I share it, Little! That's so twee and revolting! would love to see my less than twee and very smelly hound in there!

babbityann · 07/01/2015 12:56

It has probably been said already (as have only just skimmed the thread) but people who cannot use a knife and fork properly both annoy and amaze me!

OTheHugeManatee · 07/01/2015 13:04

Most of these posts aren't particularly U, just things posters dislike

I get unreasonably angry when stuck behind ancient bimbling drivers on country roads. I get that they might be a bit nervous or not be able to see as well after dark but I have a fun car that handles beautifully and crawling round corners at 35 that I would normally take at 55 with perfect safety annoys. the. fuck. out. of. me.

pictish · 07/01/2015 13:28

Ok then...

People who get attention seekingly publicly maudlin about the anniversary of their grandparent's death, even if it happened a decade ago and she lived to 92.

Mummybashy3111 · 07/01/2015 13:31

People at work who constantly repeat the same stories over and over again..
Also the same people constantly talking about their stupid diets that obviously aren't working seens as they diet one week just to fit in a dress.. Just buy a bigger size!!!! Ugh..
Slow drivers.. Ya know them people that go 40 on a 60 road. Get out my way!! I know, I know iabu but I don't care Grin

Sunbeam18 · 07/01/2015 14:03

People who bring carrier bags into the house, unpack the items from the bag and then LEAVE THE BLOODY BAG sitting there.

The overhead light being on

Nearasdammit · 07/01/2015 14:36

Ghosty - yeah there's a car rehoming centre near us. There's a Volvo that's been there years. It always looks so sad when I drive past :(

VeganCow · 07/01/2015 14:47

Op, get lost with your totally stupid veggie belief. Your mates were clearly not vegetarians for moral reasons.
I don't eat meat cos its cruel, and I could not give a shit what you think.

Singsongmama · 07/01/2015 15:04

People being late or not doing what they have said they will. Be professional, dammit!!

Threads on AIBU that aren't at all an AIBU question or situation.....go and post your thread somewhere else. It pisses me off.

YouTheCat · 07/01/2015 16:27

People who walk just behind you, at your shoulder, when it isn't busy, you've made room for them to pass and they are walking faster than you. It really really pisses me off. 3 lads did it this morning. I walked right to the side and left loads of room but they still walked right behind me, talking utter bollocks.

I like my personal space on my way to work. It's my 30 minute head clearing walk.

ithoughtofitfirst · 07/01/2015 16:32

People who talk to me in shops.

I'm trying to concentrate. Go away.

pictish · 07/01/2015 16:34

Photos of babies or toddlers covered in food.
Not cute, not funny, not interesting...just boke!

OatcakeCravings · 07/01/2015 16:34

Cyclists on the road
Tories and Ukipers
Bad weather

HerRoyalNotness · 07/01/2015 16:36

I hate speaking on the phone or using skype. As a consequence, if you don't text or email you'll never hear from me, and I've probably spoken to my dad 6 times in the 18yrs since I've left my home country, and my step-sisters twice. Although to be fair one of them does have FB now so can see I'm still alive.
