I view vegetarians as being unnecessarily fussy and daft. I have friends who are veggies, I will cook for them. Likewise, if someone has an allergy, I will respect that to the nth degree. But I still cannot shake my prejudice that veggies are attention seek-y or making a grand statement mainly cause most of my "veggie" friends stopped so they could stuff their faces with kebabs when drunk and said that they didn't eat bacon as a comment on society xD

Also, I am very, very judge-y about people who use text speak or lazy grammar. Even on things like Facebook. If you're dyslexic, fine. However, I am genuinely on the brink of removing a friend (well, friend of DH who latched on a bit) because her statuses make me want to throttle her.

All of this is wholly internalised and I would never say anything, obviously - tell me yours, no matter how petty / mean / judge-y they are.

Really annoys me when me and dp are watching TV in bed and he won't turn it off when I want to go to sleep.
I don't care if you're half way through a really good film, I want to go to sleep!!!

Bolshy, semi-literate posters who stubbornly misread others' posts and post grammatically and factually incorrect attacks! Incenses me no matter how thick they obviously are. [shouldn't care emoticon]

Chickenfillets are you my dp? Grin

People who use words wrong on facebook .. There / the're too/to etc. I'm instantly judging you as being thick ... V unreasonable I know.

Getting extremely mad when someone parks in 'my space' on the road by my house which I know rationally is not 'my space' as we all pay our road tax...

People who wait until the cashier announces the price of their shopping before rummaging in their handbag for their purse...

It's like confession I'm loving that I'm not the only one who has perfectly unreasonable thoughts that I know are unreasonable and need to talk myself down from.

Being sick of people asking me where I'm from, why did I move to the UK, etc. It's the same conversation over and over, every day, for nine years. The same stupid quips about why would anyone leave California for "sunny Manchester." The same questions like do I ever go back, do I like it here, surprise that I like it here, and then I get to hear that they have been or want to go to Florida. I can't really do anything about it because they're just being friendly, but it's boring as fuck.

tiredvommachine · 10/01/2015 10:18

Sending someone a work email that has my full name on it and getting a reply back with my first name spelled incorrectly. It's not that hard to check you're spelling it correctly ffs!

I think it's the height of rudeness Angry

My morbidly obese sister (size 28) giving me dieting advice constantly. Or commenting about me trying to eat a bit healthily after gaining some Xmas lbs, I'm a size 12, I know how to lose a few pounds, eat less move more. Ssshhh woman.

OxonConfusedDotCom · 10/01/2015 11:08

Can't see that those recent posts are unreasonable at all Smile

Another one - iabu to expect flaky, player friend not to drop me as she got a better offer for tonight?? And to feel really irked by her "am just so busy" text [fume] as an excuse.. Fucking insulting, woman and a pattern of behaviour am sick of. But i do like her company and she has her lovely side so am more tolerant than i should be...
Also hate how voluntary organisations seem to be staffed by incompetent, hardened paid staff much less competent than the (often highly skilled & qualified) volunteers they micro manage!
