Eating DChildrens Christmas chocolate.

My husband thinks we should help the children eat their Christmas chocolate, but not ask them first. They both got quite a lot. I feel a bit funny about it. Am I being unreasonable? Do others eat their DC's?

I am very kindly helping Ds with his Christmas chocolate as I type. In my defence he is sat here with me watching a film (he's 13) and I did ask if I could have some first.
