School holidays

We live on the edge of 2 counties. DC go to school in the same county we live in, but I teach in the adjoining (different) one.

Just writing the school holidays on the calendar - Feb half term completely different, week and a half difference in summer.

Quietly seething. Why don't education authorities talk to one another?

I'm being unreasonable, aren't I?

YABU. Lots of people don't even get school holidays.

I understand the annoyance. My children are at different schools and they pretty much always have different holidays- sometimes just by a few days but sometimes completely different weeks. I get paranoid that someday I'll send the wrong child to school and I can't wait for them to be at the same school again!

My dc went to 2 different schools next door to one another, one was a catholic school, the other community they were both different holidays. You just have to cope with longer holidays because there always seems to be one off.
At least you get nice quiet days with no fighting. Grin

WHY are they all different then?
