DP is away, DD had tea at grandmas.

I'm stood in the kitchen eating crackers and cheddar with pickled onions on top straight from the fridge.

Sandwich thins stuffed with Brie, Turkey, ham, stuffing and cranberry sauce, done in toastie maker for a few mins.... Had it for lunch and dinner the last two days... Still not sick if it but have run out of turkey.

WyrdByrd · 27/12/2014 23:31

We had a buffet dinner tonight of lots of party food - spring rolls, breaded prawns, chicken skewers, stuffed jalapeños etc, followed by left over Christmas pud & ice cream.

Am currently hearing the Bailey's and After Eights calling Blush .

WyrdByrd · 27/12/2014 23:33

I am very Envy of the PP with left over bread sauce!

CadleCrap · 28/12/2014 00:01

I have run out of crackers, so can't finish the Stilton. Sad

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 28/12/2014 00:16

Jacobs cream crackers, with peanut butter or cheese and cucumber.

I don't buy them throughout the year because I can't stop at just 9 2

I've eaten a large pack in 24h....oh dear

musicalendorphins2 · 28/12/2014 02:38

And to think I was feeling guilty over eating two frosted cookies/biscuits :D

butterfliesinmytummy · 28/12/2014 02:50

Posh trifle made of amaretti biscuits, amaretto liqueur, fresh raspberries, homemade vanilla custard and cream. Need to stop now....

lauralouise8 · 28/12/2014 09:47

My newborn DS went through a growth spurt from Christmas Eve to yesterday so I missed all the food as I was upstairs nursing. I kept coming downstairs to find anotger bloody course finished!! I've got myself a consolation Christmas pud and I'm going to have it with lashings of cream.

ClashCityRocker · 28/12/2014 09:52

I'm actually craving salad I've eaten so much crap!

PrimalLass · 28/12/2014 09:53

Prosecco. On tap.

DustInTheWind · 28/12/2014 10:05

Not me, but DD.
I think she's making up for her impoverished student years, because so far she's had roast meat and potatoes for breakfast every day since Christmas Eve morning.
DS appears to be living on chocolate and bacon butties.

FrancesNiadova · 28/12/2014 10:08

I made a stuffing, turkey, game & cranberry hot water pastry pie.....I've eaten half of it! (With home made pickled red cabbage!) Xmas Blush

mrspremise · 28/12/2014 10:10

Stuffing-cubes-on -sticks dunked in cranberry sauce. Grin

merlehaggard · 28/12/2014 10:13

Last night I had to track down some Xmas pudding, as suddenly realised that I hadn't had any. In laws had a choice of about 10-12 desserts but none of them eat Xmas pudding. Was devastated when tescos only had a huge one but finally tracked a small one down in co-op. ??

WyrdByrd · 28/12/2014 10:24

I was wondering this morning if a savoury bread and butter pudding might be an options for using up leftovers - bread spread with butter and cranberry sauce layered with leftover turkey, ham & veg then infuse milk with bread sauce seasonings and beat in a couple of eggs and pour over.

Unfortunately I don't have any roast leftovers to try it out.

Just had pate on toast for breakfast, DH is pulling a face and begging me to cook something with vegetables tonight Grin !

CakeAndWineAreAFoodGroup · 28/12/2014 10:24

The mince pies went in a frenzied attack at midnight on Christmas Day.
Why I didn't make a Christmas Cake, I don't know. Really fancied some yesterday.

Not yet had any port or stilton either. That's tonight's snack. Xmas Grin

WellnowImFucked · 28/12/2014 10:58

We were being 'good' this year.

This ended up in me going to the shops yesterday to buy more ham & Turkey cause I was sick of the whining about the lack of leftovers…(and sick at the lack of leftovers)

Has made me realise that the whole point of traditional Christmas dinner is leftovers

FryOneFatManic · 28/12/2014 11:34

With mum being in hospital I didn't buy a lot this year, so not many leftovers.

I am cooking a pork loin tonight so my dad gets a roast dinner, with some company (he was at the hospital with mum on Xmas day, they are both finding it hard to be apart).

However, the DCs have finished off the last of the home-made Rocky Road, so of course, I just have to make some more, don't I? Grin I want to try a variation and add a load of those multi-coloured Rainbow Drops.....

FryOneFatManic · 28/12/2014 11:37

I've just realised I've never eaten a bread and butter pudding Shock, let alone a savoury one (mum has always had an extremely restricted diet, she'd not bother eating if it wasn't necessary).

Hmmm, must try and make one. DP fondly remembers his mum making them.

ToffeeCaramel · 28/12/2014 13:38

Fryone. I made rocky road recently using leftover chocolate cereal that my dd doesn't like. I'm thinking of trying one with popcorn added next.

Sipsmith · 28/12/2014 15:33

Left over Black Forest trifle from Boxing Day. The perfect breakfast food!

ShinyToyBuns · 28/12/2014 16:53

Prosecco, homemade gluten free brownies, cashew nuts, mexicana hot cheese, double Gloucester with onions and chives and houmous with carrot sticks. Grin

IPokeBadgers · 28/12/2014 17:02

Cheese and crackers....shitloads of cheese and crackers!!!! And toblerone. And festive Christmas cupcakes that a friend left over earlier today. Not sure when normal service will resume in our house........

cardibach · 28/12/2014 17:13

I don't have any leftovers :(
We combine as a family (4 homes worth of people) and shop carefully and share out the remainder. There really wasn't much left. May have to buy pretend leftovers tomorrow.

Allalonenow · 28/12/2014 17:18

Smoked salmon and potato salad for lunch, and now going to have to have a hot mince pie after reading this thread Xmas Smile
