DP is away, DD had tea at grandmas.

I'm stood in the kitchen eating crackers and cheddar with pickled onions on top straight from the fridge.

I am currently lay in the bath whilst eating hot apple pie and clotted cream Grin

I've also just asked my husband to put a baguette in the oven, for me to have with pate and chutney when I decide to get out of the bath.
The pate only has 8 days left on it and the chutney goes off in May so I really need to eat them now whilst they're at there best Blush

Very smelly camembert, served by DH, looked like cat sick on the plate. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. It was in date but just smelled, looked and he reports tasted disgusting. I was retching!!

perplexedpirate · 27/12/2014 21:15

DH has just invented the 'cheesoroni' which is a slice of pepperoni sandwiched between two slices of cheese, served in great numbers in front of the telly.
I'm so proud.

BallsforEarings · 27/12/2014 21:16

Been scarfing down heroes all day then moved on to kettle chips and dip then breadsticks and dip, two g&t s later I have a small tummy ache forming!

Mumraathenoisylion · 27/12/2014 21:19

gammon, turkey curry, cheese and biscuits, pickled onions, parma ham and some red wine. All in the same sitting. Dead healthy.

Mammanat222 · 27/12/2014 21:20

Turkey sandwich for lunch, yesterday's left over party food early evening, cheese biscuits and pickles a little while ago... and about 8 Rennies. The joy of being 37w pregnant.

Mammanat222 · 27/12/2014 21:22

Also had some yule log and ice cream earlier and some belgian truffles. Now I'm in bed with the bloat... and a very lively baby to boot.

Altinkum1 · 27/12/2014 21:30

I made homeade filo pasty (what a bloody faff on) so undetermined to use it all, so far I've made Brie and homeade cranberry and spiced apple chutney and made into parcels and baked in the oven.I also made blueberry and apple and cranberry tarts with Stilton on top.
Bacon and Brie tarts.

Also broccolli and Stilton soup, sweet roasted honey, and Stilton soup also.

Bulbasaur · 27/12/2014 21:30

Christmas cookies.

Jesus take the wheel.

I have no self control. Hmm

goodbyeyellowbrickroad · 27/12/2014 21:36

Breakfast was Christmas pudding fried in brandy butter with a hefty dollop of cream. Been grazing all day at leftovers including sage and chestnut stuffing, roasties, ham and spiced roast nuts. The trifle in the fridge hadn't been touched yet - that'll be dinner sorted.

puntasticusername · 27/12/2014 21:46

"Christmas pudding fried in brandy butter with a hefty dollop of cream".

You. Are. My. Deity.

DustyBedhead · 27/12/2014 22:00

Turkey biriyani, handfuls of cadburys eclairs, Ritz biscuits, Pringles, Xmas pud with brandy sauce & now on sweet chilli nobbys nuts washed down with a tea.

susiedaisy · 27/12/2014 22:07

Pickled eggs pickled onions and cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.

leelteloo · 27/12/2014 22:09

We had Turkey tacos.....who knew?

MissPronounced · 27/12/2014 22:12

My Mum cooks so many amazing meals over Christmas yet doesn't eat them herself (she says after spending hours cooking them she loses interest, which I can understand!) - the only food she really wants at Christmas is Stilton and pickled walnuts Grin

singaporefling · 27/12/2014 22:24

DH makes a beautiful Tia Maria coffee for me every night which I HAVE to drink as he's gone to sooo much effort, followed by some of the artery-clogging cream-filled passion-fruit Pavlova from Christmas Day - thank goodness tis only once a year Blush

LapsedTwentysomething · 27/12/2014 22:31

I'm working through a box of Thornton's Continental and another of fudge, caramel and toffees!

FIL has made a smoked salmon spread that tastes like a gorgeous taramasalata.

Loads of gammon, pate and cheese left.

I'll have gout by January, won't I?!

billiejeanbob · 27/12/2014 22:35

Turkey, bread sauce and cranberry hot baguette for lunch with ds.
Now he is feasting on pringles, peanuts and kinder schoko bons. Yum!

DramaAlpaca · 27/12/2014 22:40

We still have the remains of a trifle and a much too rich chocolate mousse cake in the fridge, together with quite a lot of ham & about six types of cheese. There are also a few mince pies left and most of a Christmas cake which will probably last until the end of January.

The turkey has been dissected to make turkey & leek pie for tomorrow's dinner, and the bones are currently being boiled to make stock for soup.

Dinner tonight was reheated leftovers from Xmas day, it was delish.

Lambstales · 27/12/2014 22:41

This might well out me...... but sprout and bread sauce sandwich...yuuuum

I also tend to 'nibble' a lot of Stilton.Xmas Grin

furcoatbigknickers · 27/12/2014 22:43

Cheese and crackers. Dd1 and her friend cooked a cambert, we had that with breadsticks.

crapcrapcrapcrap · 27/12/2014 22:45

We had cheese and crackers for dinner. I fancy something sweet now...

ZombieJenna · 27/12/2014 22:45

Christmas pudding with clotted cream that MIL brought up from Cornwall for us (well me & DSD, DP doesn’t like it). Bless her, she had another tub sent up by mail order so we'd have enough for Christmas Xmas Grin

MissMogwi · 27/12/2014 22:46

This thread makes me feel better. DO and I had mince pies for breakfast. DD2 had some chocolate orange as pudding after her toast.

We did have a healthy ish lunch of salad & stuff.

However gluttony returned. We've had a picky buffet of turkey butties, sausage rolls, crisps, dips, Christmas cake and pork pie. I did make a salad in an attempt to get some vitamins in, got the Hmm faces.

Crumblevision · 27/12/2014 22:54

I want trifle now

I had a mini buffet earlier with yesterdays leftovers, m&s belly pork chinese style, bit of pork pie, barbecue pringles, duck spring rolls and caramelised onion dip from Aldi. It was eclectic, but fab! Pud was warmed mince pie with clementine and cointreau cream.
