we have lovely friends but they are very vague, today they asked if they could "pop in" and I said of course what sort of time? Oh replied df probably about lunchtime. So this afternoon we could have gone for a walk but we waited and waited then the phone rang about 3 and we thought good they are on way, but no it was we just have to go to ... we will be with you about 6 is that ok? Well it isn`t really but mmakes me an old grouch to say so.

That's rude and pisses me off no end!

I'd have been inclined to say 'we have plans, another time perhaps'

You know they are vague so just say to them to text or call before they come. Easy

Joysmum · 27/12/2014 16:17

...easy to then go on with your day and go home when you hear from them.

I have a friend like this and unless I can pin her down for exact times (or go to her) then I don't make plans with her.
