To leave the empty wrappers in the box of celebrations?

It's the lazy option I know, but I want to be lazy.

Also it's like a treasure hunt searching through it all for the few sweets that are left at the end - adds excitement no?

YABVVU and we would all pull cross faces at you in this house! Not just me and DH but DCs too! If they have friends who do this , my DCs are completely mystified!

No, it is wrong. Cruel and mean and lazy. It means you have no idea how many are left and therefore will definitely be disappointed.
The fact that they are celebrations does help though because they are the worst ones.

Outrageous!! I saw something the other day that said you should never put sweet wrappers back in the tub as it really freaks the other sweets out as its the skins of their friends!!

Unless you are planning on not sharing fine....but to share your rubbish a complete no no...

This is almost as bad as people who leave the empty After Eight wrappers in the box - pure EVIL!

Totally reasonable. Chew one up and put it back in the wrapper so it's looks fresh and new as well.

Ha I have just removed all the empty wrappers from DS's (18) box of quality street. Just the coffee ones left in the bottom.

Last night I broke the seal on the roses and opened the tin. First thing I saw was an empty sweet wrapper. I'm still not right ......
