How do you get through it? I can do the larger grid but not the standard one.

I try the down and left method but it isn't always possible.

Is it even possible?

I try and achieve the 2048 tile but can only get to 1024 its very frustrating

I managed to quit, and don't need to get readdicted.

Maybe try a bit of counselling. Handholding until another wise MNer comes along to assist.

You need to fiercely protect your tile in the corner. If that whole column is full then it won't matter if you swipe up because the tile will stay in the corner. I got 4096 once. I think it's my single greatest achievement.

Yes you can do it - you need to keep the follow the down and left rule without exception I have got up to the 4096 tile. Have fun!

I can occasionally get to 2048, never beyond though. Dh can do it almost every time and BIL can go on forever . Bet the git could solve a rubri cube too. Wonder if I can find our old one in time for Christmas .

One way is to always keep the highest number in the bottom right (or any other corner) do never do an UP or a LEFT unless you really have to, and when you do always immediately do the opposite to put it back in position.

Someone on here told me about the corner thing - I can now do it. So addicted though.

I have gotten to 4096 on the small grid, so it is possible. You need to do whatever you can to keep the bottom left (and as much of the bottom row) filled with your highest denomination tile.

And no, I didn't spend hours and hours and hours and hours possibly days . Really I didnt.

There is a difference between playing via the app or playing online. I can't remember what it is though. My DB could do a trick on one platform where you could do a super quick swipe when you were stuck and the new tile would appear on the 'good' side (ie away from the protected corner tile)

I couldn't get it too work though.

Squares and Dots has stumped me completely.

I like city 2048, its the same, but you build a city.
