to worry about neighbour's fumes?

The neighbours have been doing their roof the past couple of days. I've been reassured by their builder that the resin will emit a smell which goes in three hours. Two days later, I no longer smell it in my house but I do when I walk outdoors. I feel very worried exposing my young kids to this. Advice? Peace of mind?

I am sure it won't be harmful in any way otherwise it wouldn't be allowed to be used, would it?

I don't think a smell outdoors is going to be harmful to your children. I am just guessing obviously, but I would have thought that if such a thing were possible, such a product would be banned or highly controlled.

Do you know what it's called? Maybe you could google it?

Try Googling styrene and monomers. They're used in resins and might give you a lead into finding information.
