I don't condone violence normally but I've been having contractions since 4.10am, currently 5 mins apart and 'D'H has been on the toilet for 40 mins. Where the shitting hell are you !?! Come and hold my hand :-(

(PS this is a partially tongue in cheek post.... But I am going to kill him. What is it with men and the toilet. GET OUT!!!!)

Marking my place to find out which birth occurs first.

PoppySausage · 12/12/2014 08:03

Puuuuusshhhh (both of you!!)

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 12/12/2014 08:11

Good luck!!

honeysucklejasmine · 12/12/2014 08:16

Oooh! Congratulations on the impending birth of your child and condolances on the loss of your husband! Grin

ithoughtofitfirst · 12/12/2014 08:18

Haha dandy. Mine took a picture of me literally having just caught dd and sent it to my in laws. He didn't catch my good side. The nobbery starts from your first contraction with next level faffery and ends with humiliating you with photos of you looking your absolute worst.

Again, good luck OP! Xmas Grin

Looks like you both will have given birth this morning Xmas Shock

Hellohellohowareyou · 12/12/2014 08:53

My DH decided it was a good idea to have baked beans for breakfast and lunch the day I was in labour resulting in him dashing off to break wind regularly!!!

Cleio · 12/12/2014 08:56

Good luck!

On my second it was eleven at night and he was reading in bed when my waters broke. Told him to get ready as we'd be leaving as soon as I'd rang the hospital. I go in twenty minutes later and not only is he not up, he's turned off the light and gone to sleep. Says he didn't 'believe' me. Then complains I won't let him shower (contractions coming fast now: DD born 90 mins later). Still fuming over that when I think about it!

MillionToOneChances · 12/12/2014 09:03

My ex was called back to the hospital but had a shower and some food first because he thought he was in for a long night. Walked in just in time to see PFB crowning...

Number3cometome · 12/12/2014 09:12

If I would have known how useless my ex was going to be I would have left him at home haha!

This thread has absolutely had me in stitches.

Best of luck OP for the baby and the poo baby, love the name Jobby x

slanleat · 12/12/2014 09:16

Mine headed off to deliver his own little bundle just after they had finished weighing my 10lber. Literally left me holding the baby ... who was blooming heavy - I had to ring for the nurse as I honestly though I was going to drop her.

He is like a child. When he has to go he has to go there and then.... I love him dearly (honest!)

StackladysMorphicResonator · 12/12/2014 09:24

Ooh, which will come first, the poo or the baby? Exciting! Update us, OP!

And Flowers congratulations!

Fixerupperz · 12/12/2014 09:34

Good luck OP my DP whinged that he was tired bless him, baring on kind I'd not slept in 3 days. I was ready to stab him by that point.

FreeSpirit89 · 12/12/2014 09:49

Congrats and good luck x

WeirdCatLady · 12/12/2014 09:53

Hope it's going well, for both of you Wink

weeblueberry · 12/12/2014 09:57

I took a swing at DP during labour. He was bloody lucky the gas and air slowed my reflexes because it would have left a beautiful ring mark on his cheek.

He looked up at the midwife, shocked, who just shrugged and said 'yeah it happens' then casually left the room.

Good luck!!

ovaltine · 12/12/2014 09:58

Good luck!

I had to give DH directions to the hospital - we'd only been there 10 times before the birth - contractions 5 mins apart. Was surprisingly calm about it!

Marmaladecat1 · 12/12/2014 09:59

All the best! When I was in labour( turns out 20 minutes away from giving birth) he wanted me to guide him into a car parking space. How I didn't almost whack him!

Tanith · 12/12/2014 09:59

Mine wanted to drive me up the M4 to Wales so his firstborn child would have a Welsh birth certificate.

The midwife just looked at him. It was enough Grin

Congratulations Op!

Andrewofgg · 12/12/2014 10:01

Hit him hard from me whenever you are up to it.

Much love and Flowers and when you can let's hear the good news.

WorraLiberty · 12/12/2014 10:04

Good luck OP Thanks

Jeez you can tell we're living in 2014

The thought of posting on an internet forum while my contractions were 5 mins apart would never have entered my head!

ninetynineonehundred · 12/12/2014 10:06

Good luck op. Wishing you all the joy in the world Flowers

19lottie82 · 12/12/2014 10:08

I'm thinking about that episode of peeps how where mark goes to go to the loo while Sophie is in labour then ends up walking in to the lift out of the hospital, in to the video game arcade then into KFC for a monster bucket...... (Sorry!)

JamaicanMeEatMincePies · 12/12/2014 10:14

Love a live poo birth Grin

Good luck, hopefully you won't have to be (im)patient for too long Thanks
