Doing a skippy little dance routine in their 40s, in tight white suits!

And the fact the just keep going on and on in dwindling numbers.

Sorry, I know everyone loves them but I've never been a fan and now it's getting laughable.

didn't Jason leave because he disagreed with their evil tax-dodging ways? Good on him.

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 12:39

There will be a Robbie type leaving event where 1D are concerned i reckon. they do look like they hate it don't they? the truth will out in time.

Minisoksmakehardwork · 12/12/2014 12:44

I feel it's a homage to their early days - you can't forget 'take that and party' surely. Anyway, I see them slipping slowly from the limelight again and probably for good this time, continuing maybe with writing songs. But very little performance.

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 13:08

I hate the suits and the awful dancing, but it's still better than this.

merseyparadise · 12/12/2014 13:25

YABU

divafever24 · 12/12/2014 13:30

YANBU, they should have called it a day when Jason left

Tinkerball · 12/12/2014 13:33

Are they not allowed to dance now they are in their 40s?

Big Grin at 3ive

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 13:37

They can't dance Tinker as long as we don't have to watch. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 13:39

*can. Although actually maybe I was right first time....

RoundRobinSparkles · 12/12/2014 13:45

Aw, I don't think they look silly! I'm not a fan particularly, although I loved them the first time round - I was about 10. Gary Barlow is ageing like a fine wine

Xmas Grin at 3ive. There was an interview with 5ive the first time round when someone left (I can't remember who - Jay? Sean? Anyway) and they were asked why they were still called Five and why not Four? Scott said "we'll always be called Five, if I lost one of my legs I'd still be called Scott!" Xmas Hmm It made no sense! The only way it would be a good analogy would be if he was called Scotty Twolegs and he lost a leg.

Sorry, went off on a tangent there...

ihatethecold · 12/12/2014 13:57

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 13:58

I wonder who will be in 1ive?

Eastpoint · 12/12/2014 15:43

I met Jason & Howard at a party a few years ago & they were lovely. Still haven't met any of Duran Duran but my dentist had dinner sitting next to Yasmin le Bon & said she was his dream woman. The 1D album is 99p from WHSmith if you're on O2. Further non sequiturs to follow....

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 15:47

99p is still way too much East. Sad Grin

wishmiplass · 12/12/2014 15:49

I can't forgive Gary for not having the slightest fucking clue and singing 'Have a little patience' to a group of extremely disadvantaged children in Africa somewhere, one year on BBC's Children in Need.

I mean, really?

HellKitty · 12/12/2014 15:58

I read Gary's autobiography - it was 99p from a discount book shop. It would have been ok but I read it in his voice Confused

Sparklingbrook · 12/12/2014 15:59

Another 99p that was way too much Hell Grin

FuckinUnderTheChristmasTree · 12/12/2014 17:17

I used to love them as a teenager, and I've been to see them a couple of times since they've reformed. But now even I'm thinking, bloody hell lads put it to rest! Jason has left and the music they're churning out now is so generic with no originality. I've gone right off them, although that might have more to do with finding out Gary was a Tory. Hmm

Eastpoint · 12/12/2014 17:29

I declined - 99p is only 1p off a big bag of giant chocolate buttons at the moment & they are much more satisfying. I couldn't have faced the scorn of my dcs even if I'd given it to one as a spoof present.

MyBaby1day · 13/12/2014 04:34

YADNBU, they have had their day, just like Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Britney etc. They have a shelf life and theirs have definitely expired!!.

Lagoonablue · 13/12/2014 06:15

Yeah God forbid someone in their forties wants to make music and perform.

sunflower49 · 13/12/2014 06:40

My DP went to school with Gary Barlow. He says he almost punched him once over something involving GB being a twat but ended up being talked out of it, then a few years later he came onto DP's Sister and he threatened him again.

Sparklingbrook · 13/12/2014 08:36

Making music yes, not sure about the 'performing'.
